We had an appointment with the service department, made with Jaime. Jaime took care of us through the entire process. Everything was quick and thorough. Since the car repairs were going to take a couple of hours, they offered us a courtesy ride into town. Kevin, the driver, was the highlight of the experience. Fun, informative, very friendly. You charged my wife $184 for trans fluid replacement and $46 for fuel system "snake oil" without first getting her permission to do so. She was in the waiting area the entire time. She went in for an oil change and wound up paying over $286. And you charge extra to use a credit card. I've been using that dealership for 20 years for service, bought 2 new Nissans and 2 used cars. Seriously thinking about taking my business elsewhere in the future. I never had an issue and was always treated like a VIP when Barron and George owned the dealership. Maybe Shottenkirk is just showing their true colors and it's time for me to move on. More

I was sent an e-mail inviting me for a 39. 99 oil change. I scheduled the appointment, saying that in my appt request. I explained that when I arrived for my appt. His response was no problem, we will also do a courtesy inspection for other services needed. I requested a price on a set of tires as well. When the service was complete, the cashier asked if I had a coupon, I explained to her that i received an e-mail. SA walked away to get tire price and I asked for the total before she ran my card - response was over $70. I was rather upset at the bait and switch. told her the dealer sent me an e-mail for 39.99. SA again asked if I had a coupon or copy of e-mail. I told them charge what you want to, I was done. They eventually lowered the price to the e-mailed offer, but SA was then curt and short with any answer or comment after that. Technician who completed the inspection pencil-whipped his way through. Brakes were not measured, wipers and air filter not checked. Cabin air filter was not suggested, even though we are at the beginning of pollen season. Tires were noted as worn, need replacement, and battery was tested and noted as weak. I have received great service from this department in the past, hopefully this visit was just a bad day. I was never informed that without a coupon, the invited price would not be honored. SA should have told me on intake if the coupon was a requirement.
