I recently purchased a CPO 2017 Hyundai Sonata SE and ever since I bought it, I have been having issues. I went in for service 11/17/2020 and told them the issues I was having and they told me there was ever since I bought it, I have been having issues. Isn’t the dealer supposed to cover these issues as there is a 60-day dealer warranty? Let me list some of these issues. First is not a big thing, but two days after buying the car, the tail light burnt out. Two days after owning a vehicle a bulb burns out, that’s strange. Next, whenever I drive on the highway at about 65-70mph, the entire car shakes. When my foot is off the brake pedal the car shakes, not when I’m stopping. Then, there is a spot on the driver's side door with a little spot of rust on the bottom, on a 3 year old car? Really? Lastly, the second key that I have for the car does not work at all. Either it needs to be replaced or reprogrammed. I sent an email to Michael Kather, the person who sold me the car, about these issues last week and I have not gotten a response since then. I called the dealer multiple times to speak with Michael and he is never at his desk, voicemail is full and I can’t leave a message. Emailed the sales manager, no response. Worst experience I ever had at a dealer. More

Just bought a 2020 Sonata from Shaker's Family Hyundai in Watertown. I moved to Watertown a year ago and have been bringing my car here for service since, and they've been great, pre and during the pandemic. Watertown. And this last time I was in for service they offered to buy back my 2017 Sonata, something I hadn't even considered previously. As I have loved this car since I bought it and haven't thought about trading it in once. But the Manager's, Ed Shaker, offer for my car was more than fair and got me thinking. As did their financing offers they had going on. So over a couple of days of talking with Ed, about moving up to an SEL Sonata I decided to make the leap. And then had the pleasure of also working with the most helpful, and nicest Product Consultant, Shantelle Diaz, as she walked me through what I had discussed with Ed, to driving out the door with the new car. She bent over backwards to assist with everything, even reminding me I needed to pay a previous year's car tax that I had on my to do list. But in the few days of discussions had overlooked would need to be completed. As well as picking the car up herself, to bringing it to the lot to get it sanitized according to CDC recommendations, and detailed. And walked me through all of the bells & whistles like it was a class. She was easily as excited as I was to be there, and I was very happy I got to enjoy that with someone like her. It wouldn't have been the same otherwise. Shantelle, you bring such a great positive vibe with you, every step of the way and I'm very thankful for for that! What an excellent experience from start to finish. I will of course continue to bring my new car to Shaker's Family Hyundai for service, never had a bad experience yet. And now just had an incredible one! More
