DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE - I was looking for a DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE - I was looking for a Ridgeline, but wanted satellite radio. I talked to Chris at McConnel Honda in Montgomery & they did DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE - I was looking for a Ridgeline, but wanted satellite radio. I talked to Chris at McConnel Honda in Montgomery & they didn't have 1 on the lot, but said they could find 1 at another dealer. I said color didn't matter except I didn't want black (too hot in the summer)They said they thought the RTL used to have satellite radio, but now it only came with the RTLE. I called Serra & talked to Ken. He said they had 3 RTL's on the lot. I asked if they had satellite radio & the said he thought all RTL's had satellite radio. He checked & called me back & said they did not have satellite radio but could find me 1. We drove 2 hours to Sylacauga & Ken was busy with another customer & said he would probably be 1/2 hour - 1 hour, so turned us over to Roberta. She said they could get whatever we wanted & would search until they found what we wanted. She said if it was close, they could drive it in & not cost much, but if it was farther off, they had to bring them on on carriers & cost more. After a while Ken came by & I told him I wanted satellite radio so I would like to look for a RTLE, but I didn't want black. Ken left & came back later & said he had searched all over, but since the 2021 models were out, the only RTLE he could find were black, but he could put an after market radio in the RTL, but wasn't sure how it worked because they had never done that before. I told him that I'd like to think about it & was planning to call Chris at McConnel, but Ken said they wanted me to make a decision right then. By that time, we had been sitting in their office about 3 hours. Since I thought they had done an extensive search, I thought Chris probably couldn't find anything either, so a agreed to trade my 2007 Ridgeline for the RTL & they would find someone to install the satellite radio. By the time we got through with all the paperwork, we had been there about 4 hours & it was dark & after closing. They also needed the title for the '07 Ridgeline so we said we would take the '07 Ridgeline home & get our personal things out, get the title, & come back for the 2020 Ridgeline. The next day, I contacted Chris & told him to stop looking for me. He said they had found a silver RTLE & a gray RTLE. 1 was in FL. & the other in LA. I talked to Roberta & told her I wanted to get the RTLE instead of the RTL, she had Ken call me back. Ken said I needed to talk to the owner Don & put me on hold for about 10 minutes. Don said that I had signed everything so he owned the '07 & I had to take the 2020 Ridgeline. I told him I bought it based on the fact that they said they needed a decision at that time & they had searched all over & could only find a black RTLE. If I had known there was another RTLE available, I wouldn't have bought the RTL. I told him about the other RTLE's which Chris had found & Don said they only search in AL, MS. & GA. I told Don that Roberta had told me they would do an extensive search. Don said Roberta was new so she didn't know any better. I said no one told me not to listen to Roberta, but she was a representative of the company, so the company had given me false information & pressured me into making a decision based on the false information they had given me. Don said he was coming to my house to take his truck and leave the 2020 truck & there was nothing I could do about it & there was nothing I could do about it because I had already signed the paperwork.
