Dear Ms. Lisa Befanis, I am sorry to hear about your recent experience and you're feeling that Tamar and our staff "NEED SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING." So, to clear up any misunderstanding, your review left out a couple of significant facts, such as: 1. Tamar told you that your vehicle was down a quart of oil and that the technician recommended you do an oil consumption test, including an oil change, because you may be burning oil. You DECLINED the recommendation and told Tamar that you keep two quarts of oil in your vehicle for that reason, and you did not intend to fix this concern. 2. You also DECLINED the recommended replacement of the PCV, which, in many cases, causes a check engine light. The PCV valve is usually on the top of the engine valve cover. It is responsible for routing crankcase fumes back into the engine's intake manifold, where they're burned off. FYI - The PCV valve plays a crucial role in the engine's proper functioning by eliminating gases from the crankcase that can mix with the oil and form sludge, leading to engine clogging. If a PCV is believed to be faulty, the most common and noticeable sign is probably a check engine light on your dashboard. After reviewing your comments with Tamar, she was taken aback by having such a good conversation with you and trading holiday wishes, but I guess that's the world we live in today. Again, we are sorry you feel the way you do about our staff and wish you all the best in finding a repair company that meets your standards of care. Happy Holidays!
