It was fine. Car was in for new tires. Would've been nice, however, to let us know of proposed $3,000 - $4,000 fix of struts and other minor issues before new tir Car was in for new tires. Would've been nice, however, to let us know of proposed $3,000 - $4,000 fix of struts and other minor issues before new tires were being mounted on a 130,000 mi. car so we could've considered the whole bill and decided whether or not to look for a replacement car before going through with a $1,100 tire replacement. It'll be ok, though, since we now have new, safe tires for the winter. It's just that we might've thought about spending all that money on a newer car instead of sinking it into an aging one. More
