Buyer Beware I leased a car from Isaac of Royal Auto Leasing in February of 2016. The agreed upon terms were that Isaac would cover the final month of my former le I leased a car from Isaac of Royal Auto Leasing in February of 2016. The agreed upon terms were that Isaac would cover the final month of my former lease ($215), as well get a refund for my disposition fee ($350) that I would be paying. Shortly after finalizing my new lease, with an understanding that Isaac would return the fees mentioned, he requested that I pay an additional $475 to him directly. He explained there was some confusion with the dealership and my new lease would allow 12k miles per year, instead of the original 10k which we initially discussed. I didn't need the additional mileage, but he explained he was responsible for the $475 and it was a good deal, considering the money which would be returned to me. I agreed to pay the $475 which was charged to my credit card. I contacted Isaac after a couple weeks to follow up on the money owed to me. He said the disposition fee was coming from the dealership directly and it would take 2-3 months. I was surprised that it would take this long but agreed to wait and he told me he would follow up. This went on for another 6 months or so, during which time he told me the dealership had sent me the money and later that that info was wrong and he was still working through it (and there were "other clients waiting as well"). I followed up over the disposition fee over the next six months (now a year after I initially started the lease) and there's no concrete information on when, or if I'll get it. As I don't believe I'm going to recoup this fee, and Isaac is trying to persuade me that he's not responsible, I relent to just accept the $215 from him (which represents the final lease payment from my former car) and would accept the matter as closed. During the next six months, Isaac stopped responding to my calls and messages for weeks on end, and only after I threatened legal action would reply with a promise to pay me. He never did and the dealership has no record of the $475 either. I have 18 months of messages to substantiate the above claim. More
