Very concerned about a charge of $50 plus for a suggestion by the Service clerk that it would be a good idea to change the engine filter. I asked him how much extra would it cost and he said with t suggestion by the Service clerk that it would be a good idea to change the engine filter. I asked him how much extra would it cost and he said with tax about $70 of course I ok’d it and ask how long would that take and he said a couple of minutes not knowing he had not finished my initial Service project. Thinking that my initial service request was completed on the assumption five minutes more, but it was an hour. I looked around my Jeep grand Cherokee was back part. No one came to tell me it was completed so I went to see what was the hold up of completing the process of Checking out. Had to wait Until he finish up multiple invoices. I was the first job in the morning 8:30 AM. Didn’t leave the facility until a little after 10:30. Additionally, I noticed there was charge for a miscellaneous charge.of 50+ dollars the component Filter cost was $14, l questioned the clerk about this, and he stated it was for rags use and special tools to remove the engine filter. One thing that concerns me is if you have a Chrysler component, you would have that special tool in stock. To be charged for that special tool doesn’t seem fair to your customers do you? Or just me because maybe it was the first time just wondering not very happy with that charge also does Chrysler do this to every customer ex:use of tool and rag are an additional miscellaneous charge I will check my files to see if I’ve always been charged this unfair charge. Just for the record, I’ve been a Chrysler owner since 2000 started with 300 M special ,2007 JGC, 2014 JGC that had to be recalled due to auto back up failure while in the park position. (Did I Ieave Chrysler No!! I love Chrysler ) I exchanged the 2014 to a 2015 JGC,.2017 Dodge Ram 1500 and finally the 2021 JGC. I understand things may happen in repairs . But something as serious as not tightening an oil cap and driving home only to notice a trail up to my driveway And ruin a section of it. They did their best to correct it(not perfect which I did not expect but it left rough area on the D/W. I did no report it because I’m not that critical But that should not had happened. More
