On one of my service visits I was told I needed new tires. I let them know that I was going to buy them at Discount Tire because they provide free rotations. The right Honda advisor told me that right tires. I let them know that I was going to buy them at Discount Tire because they provide free rotations. The right Honda advisor told me that right Honda does the same thing and provides free rotations if you buy the tires from them. With that I proceeded. On my next visit, I was charged for a rotation and told the advisor that the prior advisor told me I would get free rotations from the dealership if I bought tires from them. They spoke to a manager and told me it’s not true. Apparently, I’m the one not being truthful. Seems that the service advisors are getting quite a bit of pressure to push untreated sales in the service dept and feel that it’s appropriate to mislead customers in order to make the sale. Very upset that I bought tires from the dealership directly under the false pretense that I would be getting free rotations. More
