The “Go to” person for buying a new car: Cassandra Harmon. With Cassandra, there were no high pressure sales tactics used, and the task of buying a new car was upgraded from formidable to pleasurable. Harmon. Micah was a great salesman, he knew that I hated the finance office so tried to avoid it. Made good deal with TrueCar and my own financing with some additional dealing as well. He made sure things were finance office so tried to avoid it. Made good deal with TrueCar and my own financing with some additional dealing as well. He made sure things were clear and explained in the car as well if he didn't know them as well as about the CPO wrap we bought. Made sure the tank was filled and ensured every question was answered before we left. The only frustration was that we did have to go to the finance manager and did have to sign paperwork, and we did have to sit in the dealership for 2 hours the first night when I told him I didn't want to. So this is the 4 not 5. And I told him again, this is why people use Carvana and Vroom, to avoid hagging and sitting in showrooms. But if it could have been managed differently I would definitely buy again from them. And I notice there is a question about the dealers home delivery service: Micah said they didn't do that. LOL. I want to rate this dealership better, but it has been a rocky process since I bought my Tucson a year ago. First, when I mentioned to the Dealership Manager (manager, not may salesman) I wanted to look els rocky process since I bought my Tucson a year ago. First, when I mentioned to the Dealership Manager (manager, not may salesman) I wanted to look elsewhere before committing, he started sending me texts on my phone about how he was raised by his grandparents, I should not be calling him a liar, and on and on (I still have the texts). I was taken aback because I never called him a liar. I am not sure why all of a sudden he was taking this sale so personally. It was enough to not make want to come back, but my salesman, Anthony, was a great guy. He had done a good deal of legwork, and ultimately I purchased from Reed. After that, service was a little rocky. They ignored my first request for a synthetic oil change, and my oil change was done with traditional oil. Service has gotten better over the last few months until I had something in my air conditioner break pouring water into the cabin of my car. The carpets, front and back, were soaked and soggy. The smell in my car unbearable. It was like I was stepping into a wading pool full of mold and much when I got into my car. When I called to schedule the repair on my only-9-month old car, they told me I would need to rent a car because the repair would take multiple days. They advised me they did not offer loaner cars, and I would need to foot the bill for the rental car. Amazingly enough though, when I my husband showed up with the car, the story immediately changed. A loaner car appeared, and no rental was needed! My in cabin air filter had been ruined though by the water that dumped into my car. I had to foot the bill for that replacement even though I feel like it was needing replacement because of the air conditioner problem. They tried to "clean" my carpets as best they could and did not offer to replace them. While the smell is somewhat better, on a nice hot day when you get into the car after the windows have been rolled up, you can still smell the musty, moldy odor in the carpets. Unfortunately, car dealers get a bad rap because of some the bad dealings that go on. I want to rate this dealership better, but as of now, they are still only about average. Everything seems to be getting better at Reed as it appears they are consistently trying to improve their dealership. I keep coming back, so they must be doing something right. More
