My only contact with anyone at Skillman Ford was and is John Trischler. Shortly after I read about the 2013 Shelby Ford GT-500 in a magazine, I got on the Internet, YouTube, and telephone to "find me a GT- John Trischler. I talked with several dealers that are local and around the country. Most were not aware of, or were not knowledgeable about this model. I found John Trischler and Skillman on YouTube. Had it not been for John's YouTube presentations, I would not have pursued my investigation with a deal 2000 miles from my Palo Alto Calif location. I believe John is a tremendous asset to Skillman Ford. Many times he sent me emails dated very late at night (his time), returned phone calls many hours after regular business hours and always responded to my calls and questions...as recently as yesterday. John's YouTube videos are excellent. They pre-sold me on him. After talking with him via phone, I sent a deposit to get in line for my car. It was with confidence that I began the purchase process and it was with further confidence via telecoms and his YouTube presentations that gave me the right feeling for a good outcome...at a 2000 mile distance. Later in the process, i flew to Indy to personally meet with John, and his assistant Joey and spent the better part of a day going over the final details "line by line" to make sure everything was to my satisfaction...and that I understood exactly what i was purchasing. BTW, this is my first Ford product since High School in the late 50's. I am especially grateful to John (as well as future GT-500 couple purchasers) for the DVD video he did using my car. It is with gratitude that I received this video to use as a reference, because I was not at the dealership to take delivery, and the usual "checkout" performed by the receipt of a new car. John also arranged to have the car shipped to Salt Lake City where I flew to drive it back home to Calif. I would recommend John to anyone who asked, "where did I get my car?' If what I encountered 2000 miles from home, tells me he must have a great following in the mid-west. As a former employer of a sizable small business, I always hired people based on attitude, knowing the skills can be learned. Skillman Ford needs to remember John when ever it is "bonus time" for the intangible traits he brings to his job. More

I know what I like and what I want, so I am very satisfied that Mr. Trischler did not try to steer me toward another model. Mr. Trischler also has followed through (thusfar) with all of his promises for service after the sale. My only remaining desire is that the dealership was closer than 2 states away so that I may shake Mr. Trischler's hand and use his dealership for service.
