I have two very bad experiences with this dealership with 2 separate cars. I took my car in to b serviced yesterday and they told me when I got there that there was a recall on my vehicle and they was going 2 separate cars. I took my car in to b serviced yesterday and they told me when I got there that there was a recall on my vehicle and they was going to handle it, I was great!!. So when they completed the service and the recall fix, I started to drive home and started to lose power and mind u I own the ionic 5 2023 model. The car would not accelerate any faster than 25 mph, I took it back to the dealership for them look at it after being ther already for two. Note that I work for Lyft and that my source of income, I waited for another 1.5hours only to b put into a loaner. Unfornately the manager and advisor had to stay until we done but all I heard was I was suppose to b home or the person that does this is not here blah blah and I started to feel like my situation was a tremendous bother to them and mind u I drive for Lyft for income and I was truly bein unconvinced because I could not use their vehicle to drive for work and the fix of the recall is what caused the problem. Luckily I have another car that’s with Lyft and I went and got it from my son drive, however, I had to put gas in it to work, when for the past two months I have not had to because my car is electric. So I felt some kind of way about that as well, so I got my car back today, not did I not have to put gas in one car but the loaner as well and I asked them if they could/would reimburse me for the gas? Of course they did not and nor would the corporate office. I love the hyundai vehicle but in my opinion their customer service and fundamentals are garbage and like I said earlier, I work in the rideshare business and word of mouth everything. I will not recommend this product because of customer service. More

He wanted me to agree in writing to paying a $5k market adjustment on the vehicle, a $1k non-refundable deposit to reserve the vehicle, and then wouldn’t even appraise my trade before that. So you charge a high price on the car, get my $1k deposit, then low ball me on the trade-in value later? No thanks. For a $50k car, I’ll go out of state before paying $60k for it. Do not give a new car deposit without getting an trade-in appraisal in writing as part of your structured deal. He was good at overcoming objections, but pounded me with insinuations to buy a cheaper vehicle they had in-stock so I wouldn’t leave. Other customers even heard us start to debate each other in the showroom, as we got awkward looks. That’s kinda old school, and I felt very insulted when I left. Dealers need to ask questions and evaluate customer’s needs first before offering a product. I may have been born at night, but not last night. More
I went to Potemkin Hyundai first to look at a used minivan. I decided to go to three other dealerships to look at other vans. I ended up going back to Potamkin. The staff, from the salesman, the sales manager, to the gentleman in finance, treated me very well. The atmosphere is completely different than other dealerships. Friendly, and worked with my budget. Great people to buy a car from. More

Taylor Dempsey at Potamkin Hyundai Stone Mountain made it happen and made me SMILE. I stopped by one afternoon after work to see a car I found online and was lucky enough to have Taylor greet me. After lis happen and made me SMILE. I stopped by one afternoon after work to see a car I found online and was lucky enough to have Taylor greet me. After listening to my story Taylor quickly figured out which car would be a great match for me, and it wasn't the one that initially drew me into the dealership. The only catch, the perfect car was not on the lot and the timeline for delivery was uncertain. Taylor contacted me daily with updates until the car arrived at the dealership. I think she had pictures sent to my phone before the tires hit the ground as it rolled off the carrier. Without Taylor's patience and professionalism I might have missed out on this beautiful Sonata Limited Hybrid Plug-In. The kudos go beyond Taylor; the entire staff was friendly and knowledgable and made sure I felt welcome, acknowledged, and no pressure. Tiger deserves a shout out, too. Mr. Personality made sure I was happy with my decision and acted as team photographer. Josh Benton in the Finance Department made that not-so-fun part of the transaction feel more like a chat with a friend from home instead of dealing with legal documents. Nigel, the Finance Director, was very friendly and answered all my questions fully; no double talk, no pressure. I looked at more than a few dealerships and have bought several cars in the last couple of years; Taylor Dempsey and Potamkin Hyundai Stone Mountain have delivered the best experience, bar none. Did I mention that pricing was competitive and the entire experience was hassle free? Yep, I'll be back. More
All the staff at this dealership is fantastic. The dealership bends backwards to make things right for the customer. National Hyundai isn't so much. If it wasn't for this employees at this dealership, I wouldn't want to buy another Hyundai. Hyundai, the car maker, don't care about customers. They made a lemon car that broke down at 253 miles. Hyundai has made very little effort to rectify the problem. If you want first class service from the dealership, buy your car here and know you'll be taken care of. If you are looking to buy a Hyundai and ultimately have your car service somewhere else, then skip Hyundai and go with another maker. More
What a pleasure this dealership is to work with. Tony DeLucca was a delightful salesman to work with. I could not ask for anymore than they had offer including the finance department. It’s worth the 30 DeLucca was a delightful salesman to work with. I could not ask for anymore than they had offer including the finance department. It’s worth the 30 minute drive from Buckhead. Do yourself a favor and check them out before you make your next car purchase. You will be glad you did. More

My friend an I originally came in to view a Hyundai Elantra that was suppose to be on the lot at the time of my arrival. Unfortunately I was devastated when I heard the car was sold. Desperately needing a car, I began opening my search to more flexible options when looking for the right car. I was grateful to have Karen assist me in the beginning but very quickly she became very dismissive with her tone and attitude towards my friend and I. She stated that I” have champagne taste, on a beer budget.” I was very upset by this remark as I continued to wait for hours as Nigel started to assist me with the loan agreement. After many hours and numerous credit pulls we attempted to find a car loan that was right for me. I then proceed to Jerome to sign the paperwork and make the down payment. Due to the lack of information I left the dealership with no car, half of my down payment already made, and a lengthy checklist to be completed. I also started receiving assistance from Danielle. After completing that checklist within that small time frame I then call Danielle to set up a drop off time that never happened. I was then hassled into making more on the down payment and even spending $100 on Uber to travel to my job (on an off day) to retrieve a paystub I didn’t have access to unless I was on my job’s VPN which I stated to Danielle, Jerome, and Nigel. There was so much communication coming from Danielle as the sales person and not the financial supervisor who Danielle stated “Didn’t feel comfortable giving me the loan/car without all of those stipulations being made. I eventually gave in and asked for a refund because I was beyond stressed and humiliated for how I was treated as a Young African- American Credit Developing Professional. At 11:34pm Monday January 17th, 2022 Jerome sent me an e-mail stating that I would receive a full refund of $4500 onto my debit card. Jerome then doubled back on this email saying he would drop off half of that check on January 19th and the other half onto my debit card. This is very suspicious behavior coming from a authorized dealership as I expressed this situation to my financial advisor. But needless to say I would love to have a more in-depth conversation with you about this matter before I take affirmative actions in a different direction More
