Giving up my car that grew up with me for 15 years was a tough thing to do; and DOC put up with my indecisions, lack of choice, and my changing mind throughout the whole process. Including making himself available on days off. He made every effort and paid attention to all the details until I settled on my final choice, one that he really knew I would like, the 2011 Jetta SE with a two-toned interior. To my surprise on the day of the pick-up, DOC had gone the extra mile: Flowers to match the car color, VW bag, VW tee-shirts, etc…. etc…. I am so happy I did a lease as I will be seeing much more of the whole team at Platinum Volkswagen!! It is important to note that I was also working with another, closer VW dealer to my home – never again; I am going to be a Platinum VW Client for all my future cars and recommend them strongly!! He was thorough, efficient, frank, and a pleasure to do business with. In my search by phone I talked to more than 15 dealers, so I gained an appreciation for how good or bad the interaction can be. There were dealers who refused to give me anything in writing, or wanted me to pay them first before they told me what they could sell me, or claimed they had what I was looking for when they actually were trying to get it from another dealer, or acted hostile when I asked for fax documentation of what they were selling me before I made a down-payment. In contrast, when I reached Joe at Platinum, it was quick and professional. I told him what I was looking for, he told me what he had in inbound inventory that matched up, I asked for documentation and he faxed it right over, I told him my target price and we negotiated a deal right away. I had a signed buyer's order within a few hours of my first phone call. When I arrived at the dealership to take delivery, everything went smoothly and all the staff I met was friendly and helpful. Nobody ever forgets the day they get their first car, and I know that I will always remember this special day in my life thanks to Doc. The craziest and most amazing part of the whole experience was that they surprised me with it. I had no idea! When Doc told me that the blue Tiguan in the garage that I was staring at was my first car, I was shocked, amazed, and so happy! The car was decorated with a balloon, VW apparel, and an adorable stuffed animal called "Doc" all courtesy of Doc. Without Doc's help, the moment would not have been nearly as special. He really put in an extra effort to make me and my family happy, and I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for his help. Oh, and by the way, I decided to name the car Doc after working with him. If you want to buy a VW, I would absolutely recommend you to Platinum Volkswagen. Thank you for everything! More
