Did not bargon for this! Recall service that cost me $1032! Had a recall service appointment for the Tecata airbag and a defective blower motir harness. I also asked for an LOF service. When my vehicle was ready, I noticed that as soon I turned on the ignition, the radiator fan was operating. This has NEVER happened before. I thought it may perhaps had something to do with the new wiring harness and since they were no warning lights on, I left the dealership. A couple of miles down the road, the hot amber warm engine warnign light came on, followed by the red light. As per the fail-safe protection feature, the engine power was cut-off and I stopped. Peterson towd my vehicle in for a look. Upon oonnspection, they informed that my electric water pump had seized up and needed replacement. I know coincidences happen, but this one was very suspicious...No prior warning whatsoever and the engine had never exhibited any syptoms of a failing water pump. The inspectiion report stated variable amperage draw from the electric water pump. I am not certain that this was the case. I travel extensively and do not have the time at the moment to look into this "coincidence" further, but I will ask the dealership to show the deffective pump and go from there. Unfortunately, They completed the water pump replacement at 5:40PM, called me to come fetch the vehicle and I was forced to pay over the phone and piuck my vehicle up after 6PM., thus no communication from the service person or further pursue of the old water pump condition by me. More

Like New Again! Ryan and Nick in service are the best.. They helped coordinate preventative care for my 340ix.
