I purchased my Toyota during the week of the 15th, and I must express my deep disappointment regarding the conduct of a gentleman associated with the dealership. This marks my fourth Toyota acquisition from Performance; however, due to my recent experience, I will not be returning. Mr. James Henne, the owner, displayed behavior that was not only unprofessional but quite troubling. Having known Mr. Henne for several years, my wife and I were taken aback by his treatment of an employee, a young man who appeared to be no more than 18 or 19 years old. It was disheartening to witness Mr. Henne’s aggressive demeanor as he shouted at this young employee, who was evidently overwhelmed and distressed. While I understand that errors can occur in any setting, there is no justification for bullying behavior. I approached one of the staff members to inquire about the owner’s actions, and she expressed that such tirades are commonplace at the dealership. This revelation only solidifies my decision to no longer patronize a business where the owner fosters a hostile work environment. We gave them the requested deposit for them to use on reserving a vehicle or to have it shipped. We were told by Brian Hoover, the sales rep, that he would look at the system and and let us know what he can find and that he would follow up on Monday of the following week. The Wednesday after that Monday he was supposed to follow up on but didn't, we decided to contacted Brian to see if there was any news to which Brian responded that he has not been able to locate one and that he will follow up with us in a week to let us know if one can be delivered. That week went by and we did not hear anything back from Brian. I then called the sales manager, Zach Hemler and left a message for him to call me back so I can find out what the status is and why Brian is not responding or following up. The next day Zach called my my wife instead of responding to my voicemail. During that conversation Zach stated that they were having issues locating a 4Runner TRD OffRoad to which my wife responded that they were looking for the wrong model despite the exact specifications and model being discussed by both parties. We then decided that this dealership is not taking our interests seriously and decided to take a trip out to Kelly Toyota of Hamburg where we purchased our new vehicle. All in all, Performance Toyota is lacking in the performance department. All they had to do was communicate effectively and they failed to even do that correctly. A simple call with a plan to discuss how we could get the vehicle that we want regardless of time would have sufficed. Instead they chose not to communicate or follow up in a timely manner and lost not only a sale, but our future business as well. Lastly, when we went to pick up the deposit refund that they stated was ready, Zach not only ignored us, but didn't have the check ready. The absolute disregard for professionalism is just another layer of incompetence you will experience at this dealership. More

Just like our last purchase, this entire process was completed online from start to finish, which made everything incredibly convenient for our family. When I arrived at the dealership, Jack from the sales team was a pleasure to work with. He had all of the paperwork prepared and ready to go, making the delivery process quick and seamless. I was out the door in record time (no lie). We truly appreciate the excellent customer service, professionalism, and efficiency from both Zach and Jack. Highly recommend working with them if you’re looking for an easy and enjoyable car-buying experience! More

There are none of the old employees you “use to know and love” that would go out of their way to help you and would know personal things about you. Service is horrible to try to make an appointment. Long wait times and untruthful diagnosis to try to sell you services you don’t need. Who ever is running this company should be ashamed. The family values and feeling of a small family company is gone. This is truly a shame from what it once was. Lancaster and Tri County still value their customers, will be honest with diagnoses and actually have employees that know their job. Word of advice stay away. More
