Some dealer service departments can be intimidating. But not Pellegrino, I voiced my concerns and Patty actually cared. I got to admit I was a little apprehensive at first. But she really came through to me not Pellegrino, I voiced my concerns and Patty actually cared. I got to admit I was a little apprehensive at first. But she really came through to meet my needs. Took my truck in for a oil change, brakes, etc. Patti my service advisor advised me that a part broke on the emergency brake cable and they would have to remove the driver seat and center console to get to service advisor advised me that a part broke on the emergency brake cable and they would have to remove the driver seat and center console to get to it. I approved the work. I went to pick up my truck yesterday and found grease all over my leather seats, carpet, headliner, and interior trim! The technician even scratched some of my interior trim pieces. The pillar where the driver seatbelt is was hanging off. Took it back to them within 30 minutes and showed Patti and the service manager Jim what was wrong. Patti took my truck back to detail and cleaned some of the grease and the technician fixed the pillar. As far as the scratces on the plastic trim was addressed by a vendor. I wanted my interior detailed but with the corona virus they are not detailing service vehicles as what i was told. I get stuff happens but stupid things like this can be avoided by wearing gloves, changing gloves, or put plastic on the seats before you get in it. I dropped off my truck this morning to get the issues addressed and they put me in a loaner. Picked up my truck the next day and checked out where the issues were addressed. Most of the grease was removed and the plastic trim was repaired (the best they could) Patti also also recommend that my alternator needs to be replaced. I spoke to Jim about the price of the alternator that Patti quoted me. He said that he would talk to the parts manager about the cost and get back to me. 3 days later and still no phone call from Jim. Its very disappointing to be treated like this when you spend thousands of dollars in service and be a very loyal customer. On to the next Jeep Dealer ✌ More
I am so upset with their service department at Woodbury jeep. I brought my 2001 jeep grand cherokee in because the idle was fluctuating and it was stalling and had rough starting. I was told it was the thr jeep. I brought my 2001 jeep grand cherokee in because the idle was fluctuating and it was stalling and had rough starting. I was told it was the throttle body and had that installed for six hundred and some change. Jeep still stalling, fluctuating idle, and rough starting. Then they said it was idling too low and they went into the computer and raised the idle and said the fuel filter needed to be changed. Had that done. Still sporatically rough starting, not stalling though but now my remote doesn't work, I believe it got deprogrammed when they were in the computer because even changing the batteries did not help, and worst of all, now my jeep is making this extremely annoying high pitched whinning noise coming from underneath that I can hear even with the music turned up and the heat on high. I even recorded it several times. I call, Josh said bring it back in, so i make another appointment. Meanwhile they never get to my car the "next day" on several of my appointments which is at my expense of the rental car, if it is available because they are always rented for several days, and now I see why. Finally I get a call from Josh, "good news, the mechanic found the source of the noise. The fuel pump is bad and when they changed the fuel filter, the fuel pump couldn't handle the load , and that's what the noise is". Get a new fuel pump installed for a thousand and change.........the whinning high pitched noise continues. I try to endure this for 2 days hoping it will subside, but it doesn't. I drive it back over there and a man comes out , and he hears it and is pretty sure it is coming from underneath the jeep. He will send out Charles to take it into the bay. Charlie comes out to the waiting area for my keys. I said "I also recorded it if you want to hear how loud it is inside the jeep", and with this cocky ,nasty look on his face he days "no I don't want to hear it. I can't fix your phone" takes my keys, and I don't see him again. The lady at the service counter comes to me and explains that the noise is coming from tubing that is in the area where they were working and that Josh is off, but will call me tomorrow because he knows all that has been going on. Next day, no call. I call, Josh is with a customer and will call back. He never did. I called the next day, Josh said the mechanic said it is the fuel line which they can't get the part because my jeep is too old, so mechanic will make one, and this fix will cost me three hundred fifty and change. He also said he never heard of this problem before yet there are hundred of jeep forums about this exact problem with the fuel filters causing a whinning noise that they believe lubricating the o-rings and connectors to the fuel filter has helped stop the noise. I have to call and talk to the manager because I should not be paying for another attempted solution fix after a thousand dollar fuel pump did not stop the whinning noise that started after they install a new fuel filter. Thoroughly disgusted......Barbara Loberto More
