We bought 4 new tires from Passport for my Altima in August 2021. One of the tires was plugged when we got it. I drove my car home and it sat in our garage for a week. I drove it a week later, and th August 2021. One of the tires was plugged when we got it. I drove my car home and it sat in our garage for a week. I drove it a week later, and the check tire pressure went on. We brought it back to Passport and asked them to check for a leak in the rear passenger-side tire. They could not find the leak, and Walter Moxham, our service manager, asked when we had the tire plugged. Huh? We told him we did not have the tire plugged, that we had barely drove the car since we got the new tires, but it was obvious he didn’t believe us. He finally ordered a new tire for us and tried to charge us for the labor to put the new tire on! Needless to say we refused to pay for the labor, and we will NEVER go back to this place. More
I was visiting the area from Delaware. It was just a 4 day get away. In the middle of my stay in Washington DC. my automobile started displaying some operating problems. I commented calling around to fin day get away. In the middle of my stay in Washington DC. my automobile started displaying some operating problems. I commented calling around to find a Nissan dealer who could check out my vehicle for the problem. I couldnt get no appointment at such short notice because of my time frame to return back to Delaware, until I called PASSPORT NISSAN in Alexandria, VA. I was so excited to get an appointment on a saturday @930am. I got to the dealership and went to the service office and was admittedly greated by a young lady name AshLeigh Wallace. She was very friendly and personable with a smile on her face that made me feel comfortable. She is a very approachable and extremely friendly person with her professional degree of pure perfection.Ashleigh listen to my issues with my vehicle and asked the right questions to best help me. She went out of her way to insure that I would get the best outcome. She suggested a diagnostic on my vehicle. She suggested somethings I could do in the area while I waited for the results. She keep in contact with me to deliver any updates by phone ,text and email. My transmission needed emergent repairs I was to leave the are Sunday she problem solved every adverse situation and made the repair happen. She went the distance and towed the line for the company in getting the best result and outcome for me as a valued customer and she made me feel that my needs was important to her. She even made my day extra special when she went to her boss and mechanics to ensure I had my car completed by the end of the work day ,which was a short day for them. I am so ecstatic about her amazine grind to do her best at every turn. She is a wealth of information and a exceptional resource. She got the job done without a sweat and it was hot that day. So hot that she seen me walk in the door after my walk to the park that she told me about and directed me to the refrigerator where there was cold bottles of water. Now that customer service! She is so awesome she invited me to keep her work email so if I had any questions or in the area that I can reach out to her anytime. I so appreciate her and her help and words cant even come close to how grateful I am for her and what she do. She took charge and I got results. Give the lady a raise and a trip to Hawaii. God bless the company and most of all God bless Ashleigh Wallace. Very proud owner of my 2016 Nissan Rouge Grace Chase US ARMY RETIRED More
The service dept is terrible. This makes my third time waiting over 2.5 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation and I had an appointment each time. I will go somewhere else in the future, I sugges waiting over 2.5 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation and I had an appointment each time. I cannot recommend less. I bought a used car (2015 Honda civic) from them and not only did they lie about putting a new battery in it, put an old battery in instead (got it home and immediately needed it re civic) from them and not only did they lie about putting a new battery in it, put an old battery in instead (got it home and immediately needed it replaced) then they denied it and neglected to pay for it after a verbal agreement that they would, but now 1 year later I had to bring my car in to a different dealership for a brake system warning and they informed me that the brakes were having an issue because the emergency brake system had the actuators stripped before I bought it, since the car wasn't set to service mode and they forced the brakes open. This means that in the year since I bought it, I've paid over $1,300 for parts and labor that should never have been an issue and are the sole responsibility of Passport Nissan's poor mechanics and shady salesmen. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Buyer beware, they will take advantage of you given any chance More

This review is for two different auto inspection visits at Passport Nissan of Alexandria. First time during the routine auto check, I was told my battery was not holding a charge and would soon leave me s at Passport Nissan of Alexandria. First time during the routine auto check, I was told my battery was not holding a charge and would soon leave me stranded. I said no way, the battery had only been installed the previous month. After I rebutted their finding, they said it was another car in the shop. The second time was the following year and I was told my tires would not pass inspection. What Nissan did not know was I had a co-worker who has a VA State Inspection License and I had the tires checked before taking it into Passport the following year (this was due to my experience the previous year with the battery). When I told them that, their tune changed and the vehicle go a state inspection sticker and it was two years later that my tires did not pass inspection. Guess they try to take advantage of people they might suspect of not being "auto smart." Have not taken my car back for service since. Up to those 2-times, I was pleased with the service, but it reached a point where I lost all confidence in their "customer service honesty." More
Dealership horror storyI brought my car in for an oil Dealership horror story I brought my car in for an oil change. The oil plug failed (according to the service department) and all the oil poured out Dealership horror story I brought my car in for an oil change. The oil plug failed (according to the service department) and all the oil poured out of my car. I called for roadside assistance and was denied help. The second time I called road side assistance I was hung up on. The car now smokes and has a continuous burning oil smell. Just made my fourth payment. The dealership still has not addressed my vehicle correctly. I had to call Nissan North America for help. Update After a helpful discussion with the dealer, everything will be made all right. Dealership did the right thing and is doing everything in its power to clean, monitor and protect the vehicle in the future. More
Great buying experience at Passport Nissan Alexandria YouTube is filled with horror channels of car shoppers getting beaten up by dealerships. My experience was anything but that. I hit the chat button YouTube is filled with horror channels of car shoppers getting beaten up by dealerships. My experience was anything but that. I hit the chat button on Passport Nissan (Alexandria VA) Thursday at 11:00 just to see if anyone was awake. After being funneled through corporate, I was texting Miguel, who I later found out was the sales manager. He quoted me an attractive price and I made an appointment to see the car that Saturday. After Binge Watching the afore mentioned YouTubes, I was ready for the litany of surprises and was eager for a fight. Simply stated, that never occurred. On Saturday I met with Jason Bermudez who walked me through the Nissan Leaf, and completed the paperwork. From there it was on to a low key visit with Ryan Poole, the finance manage. At noon, I was driving off the lot. Truly Passport Nissan is looking long term to keep your business within the dealership. I couldn’t have scripted a better experience. Thanks you Miguel, Jason, and Ryan More
I had a horrible experience this afternoon with Richard Stenzel at Passport Nissan in Alexandria, VA. He was rude and condescending and the entire service experience lacked customer service. He denied ever Stenzel at Passport Nissan in Alexandria, VA. He was rude and condescending and the entire service experience lacked customer service. He denied everything that I informed him I had previously confirmed with the service and parts agents prior to my arrival for my appointment. His engagement and interaction with me was deplorable and when I asked to speak to his manager, they dismissed his actions by saying he was trying to finish for the day because he was headed to his vacation. Everything I stated I was told via phone was in fact true and the work was done well, however I will never return to this dealership for service. I am not sure why he engaged me the way that he did, but it doesn’t matter because they will never get a chance to service my vehicle again. Regardless of how many times they said “this is not how we do business”... apparently it is. When I told Richard that I couldn’t believe he had a job because of the way he was treating me, he responded “I still have a job because I don’t deal with people like you”... Thank you Nissan for failing to uphold your company promise and standards of service during such a difficult time. More
Great service on my Pick-up Truck for 12 Straight Years I bought my 2008 Nissan Titan in Sept 2007. Richard Stenzel handled all the servicing of the vehicle from the first service to the final one completed I bought my 2008 Nissan Titan in Sept 2007. Richard Stenzel handled all the servicing of the vehicle from the first service to the final one completed in Dec 2019. In the 12.5 years I owned the truck, Richard was clear and honest on the trucks' service and repair issues encountered. There were many occasions where he advised me on the best option for a repair or other truck related issue while looking to keep repair costs to a reasonable minimum level to me the customer, and that was much appreciated. While waiting for the truck to be serviced at dealership, Richard kept me informed on the service progress via mobile text and personally let me know If a repair was needed for decision or when service was completed. Its one of many reasons I brought the truck back to the dealership for service after service- Trust and Confidence on a job well done. When I traded the truck in, it was in excellent operating condition and was sold several days later. Thanks Richard and all the Best! More
