I had been looking for a replacement car for over three weeks and thought I may not be able to find one before my family would need their cars back again. Then I came upon a CPO '07 TL Type-S and couldn't weeks and thought I may not be able to find one before my family would need their cars back again. Then I came upon a CPO '07 TL Type-S and couldn't believe the price! Peter Pazmino was able to rectify my bad situation when I had tried to inquire about the car at 3 different times. He had put me at ease and we finally worked out a deal. My girlfriend and I had flown out from Atlanta, GA on Saturday to pick it up, and Peter was there to pick us up personally from the airport. When we had gotten to the dealership, he was even more hospitable by offering us something warm to drink since the rain had now turned to snow that Saturday afternoon. He was very professional and did not try to rush us even though there were other customers in the showroom. After the deal was signed, I had asked him if I could go inspect the car in a covered place. That's where I had ended up meeting Wendy Deshais who was there to explain everything in detail about my car since my last car was not as fully loaded as this one. She did a very thorough job and even helped plot the course of my return home in the navigation unit. More
I'll never come back to this dealership. Called them in the morning and spoke to Krystal (may be this is not the correct spell of her name, but that is how it sounded) who checked the computer and told me the morning and spoke to Krystal (may be this is not the correct spell of her name, but that is how it sounded) who checked the computer and told me that they do have the model / year / colors of the car I was looking for. She asked me to make an appointment, so the car would be ready for the test drive when I come in. I made an appointment and came in an hour. Nothing was ready for me to test drive. Moreover, they did not even have the car I was looking for. When I spoke to the manager he said that the cars are sold quickly this days and that they sold many of them yesterday. When I said that I made an appointment an hour ago, then ... his excuse was that the inventory in computer was not updated. So, they brought the car of a completely wrong color combination and were trying to sell me this car saying that this is the last one they have left and if I do not buy ffrom them this one then no dealer has an inventory of this kind of car anymore. When I said I was not interesting, then they said the can bring me the combination I was looking for tomorrow. I said ok, lets price this. I gave the quote I got from the leasing company. The salesperson disappeared for 10-15 min saying they need to come up with a number. (Like if this company is first day in business and they do not know what the selling prise is) Finally he came back with numbers that would cost me $10,000!!!!! more during the 36month lease period than the leasing company offered me. I just waisted my time with them. They have all this kind of tricks that can be used while dealing with uneducated and unprepared customer, so they can screw him. Really bad reflection on Acura brand. More
I went to PARAGON ACURA 56-02 Northern BLVD this dealer plan to lease a 2012 ACURA RDX. The sales person name is Justin Liu. We sign the lease contract by only knowing the monthly payment price. I paid fu plan to lease a 2012 ACURA RDX. The sales person name is Justin Liu. We sign the lease contract by only knowing the monthly payment price. I paid full amount of the initial payment and waiting to come second day to sign all the other doucment and pick up the car. Then he helped me by asking a insurance company called me to purchase a car insurance. Actually its provided by a insurance broker. I end up being charged for $1100 broker fee, also payed $1400 for the half year insurance. In the second day I called direct to another insurance company which only pays $500 something for the half year insurance. So I purchased the insurance at this place and canceled the previous insurance. I called the sales person Justin Liu told him I'm not happy about the whole insurance experience. In the afternoon he just called and noticed me my leasing can't be approved by the bank. I have to either paying more down payment upfront or cancel the lease. I have been told yesterday it will have no problem to take this lease and I have a 730 credit score. I thought he must be unhappy about I found out the insurance thing. He must have some deal with this broker to help him get some money in this deal. Now he saw there is no benfit taken so he ask for more downpayment try to take advantage on me. This is my worest experience every. Called 2 insurance company and now have to cancel all of it. Also waste a lot of time by staying the deal store also doing a lot of research. I will never go to this dealer again. Because they don't do business honestly always want to take something from you. More
Having scheduled appointments with other dealerships in the area, I went to Paragon Acura shopping for an RDX with no intention of making a purchase that day. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the exp the area, I went to Paragon Acura shopping for an RDX with no intention of making a purchase that day. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the expertise and willingness of the sales staff to give me the price I asked for and with all the options I requested. I have had a lot of experience purchasing vehicles, from Toyota to BMW to Mercedes, and I can say without hyperbole that the Acura sales staff was the finest I've ever experienced. They were friendly and willful without ever behaving desperately, nor did they exude any of the vulture-like salesmanship commonly found at other dealerships. I don't have a trace of buyers remorse and I cannot recommend Paragon Acura enough. I want to thank Angela Ortiz, the internet sales manager who introduced me to Melvin Salcedo, who did a fantastic job locating the car I wanted and preparing it for delivery, and the finance director, Peter Sukhram, who went step by step in outlining the options I had in purchasing the vehicle. I also wish to thank Rachael Carhuayo, who was sweet and immensely helpful in explaining the impressive technology set in the vehicle. I must also give special mention to Rob Salameh, without whose help the deal could not have been made. He saved me a great deal of time and effort in making this purchase. An A+ experience overall. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I got a good vibe. Yizzel greeted me with a smile and built an instant rapport with me. Her relaxed approach to the process put me at ease. She took the time good vibe. Yizzel greeted me with a smile and built an instant rapport with me. Her relaxed approach to the process put me at ease. She took the time to explain the 2 vehicles that I was interested in with great detail. I decided that I wanted to test drive both vehicles and she made sure that it happened, although it was a cumbersome process to move cars around to get access to the vehicles. When it was time to sit with the F&I Manager, I started sweating. I anticipated a hard sale of all the bells and whistles. Michael Francis was courteous, friendly and very honest. I have never received a tutorial before driving off of a car lot. It was an awesome experience that every dealership should consider adding. Wendy Deshais seemed to know everything there was to know about the car that I just purchased which instantly increased my comfort level. She was really thorough and by the time I got home, I didn't even need the manual! Paragon Honda Rocks! More
My wife and I visited this dealership with the intention of looking at an RDX. It was late on a Sunday afternoon and all 2011 and 2012 RDX models were gone. We were assisted by Yizzel who is extremely knowl of looking at an RDX. It was late on a Sunday afternoon and all 2011 and 2012 RDX models were gone. We were assisted by Yizzel who is extremely knowledgeable about the Acura line as well as cars in general. SHe showed us a comparable 2009 and invited us back at our convenience for a test drive. As we realized by our return that our desires had changed to an MDX. Yizzel was more than accommodating and allowed us to test both. We decided on the MDX. Yizzel and her sales manager worked with us to find the right fit and we purchased a certified pre owned MDX 2009. We were very comfortable throughout the process and never felt pressured. We would recommend Yizzel and the team at Paragon to any and all future purchasers. In addition I would be remiss not to mention a feature that Paragon had which is lacking at all other dealerships. Wendy was the representative who actually spent the time to give us a personalized tutorial of the vehicle and all of it's amenities. I have never heard of such a program on a new car and they did this for a used one as well. We were beside ourselves and able to leave the dealership with a feeling of comfort because someone took the time to familiarize us with our new baby. WOW! What a concept and Kudos to the entire team at Paragon. You have earned my business hands down. Other dealerships should visit your establishment and aspire to be all that you are. Kudos! To all.and thank you especially Yizzel and Wendy! More

Terrible Service Department experience. Three months Terrible Service Department experience. Three months prior to my horrible experience, I bought a 2010 Acura TSX with manual transmission from an Ac Terrible Service Department experience. Three months prior to my horrible experience, I bought a 2010 Acura TSX with manual transmission from an Acura Dealership in Manchester CT. Only drove the car for 2800 miles and 3 days into my 10 day vacation in New York City, when my brand new clutch burns out rendering the car non-drivable. I couldn't believe it, a brand new car with ~3K miles driven on Connecticut road and traffic and the clutch burns out!!! Mind you, I learned to drive on manual transmission and have 10 years experience with two prior cars (Ford Probe and Honda Accord) with stick shifts transmissions. So, Paragon Acura agreed to accept my car for diagnosis and Acura roadside assistance provided free towing to them. Three days later, I am contacted by Kevin Cunningham (service assistant) regarding the clutch, who states that the clutch meets the "wear and tear" criteria and is NOT COVERED under warranty. When I heard this SHOCKING news, I met with Mike Timpone (Parts & Service Director) in their shop. He persistently told me that the brand new clutch burnt out due to wear and tear issues and not a manufacturer defect. You have to understand that Wear and Tear items (such as clutch or breaks) are not covered under warranty. I took this up with Acura Client Service (800-382-2238), who assigned a district manager (Katerina) to the case. So the next day I get a phone call from her and she tells me she only LOOKED at "pictures" of my clutch and upheld the decision of the service managers. I went on a rampage and argued with the Paragon Acura service department, while Mike Timpone brought his henchmen in attempt to prove that the clutch was what it was!!! Basically it was David vs. Goliath. My only options, were either tow the car or repair it at Paragon Acura for twice the cost at an independent transmission shop. The invoice Paragon Acura provided for repairs was $1,600 with $340 for the clutch parts and the remainder for hours and labor. I towed the car out of there as soon as I could and paid a total of $850 for repairs at a transmission shop down the road. There is lack of empathy for the customers and Paragon are low-level crooks hiding behind a big corporate name, like ACURA!!! Once they see that a customer wont comply, they simply ignore you and pressure you to make a quick decision. The reason I gave it 2/5 stars, was because Acura did provide a loaner car for the duration of my car kept in their shop. More
It was a great experience from start to finish. I leased a 2012 Acura RDX from Paragon. I knew exactly what I wanted and at what price. Yizzel did not waste any time in getting started and then following th a 2012 Acura RDX from Paragon. I knew exactly what I wanted and at what price. Yizzel did not waste any time in getting started and then following through everything that was required till the delivery of the vehicle. I had to go through many rounds of negotiations, but in the end got close enough to the deal I was looking for. I bought the vehicle the same day. Their follow up after delivery has also been great so far. I haven't gotten the car serviced yet; will write a review about that as well soon. More
