The good is that the transaction was quick, the make, model, trim, and color of the vehicle I wanted was on the lot. The bad is that I had to manage thru bait-and-switch pricing, confusion between the sa model, trim, and color of the vehicle I wanted was on the lot. The bad is that I had to manage thru bait-and-switch pricing, confusion between the sales person and the finance person, sneaky add-ons that weren't mentioned but appeared on the bill of sale. I'm not a fan of sticker shock and almost walked away from the deal until they removed the assumed-I-wanted add-ons and the price fell back to where it should have been. Buying an EV for the first time I was met with confusion on what I needed to buy in order to have all of the charging apparatuses I needed - this resulted in three visits to the dealer and several phone calls. Part of the purchase decision making was electing to accept the "free" at-home charging station. At first this seemed included until thru the process I was made aware that the cash-back rebate that appeared to be $5000 was actually $7000 unless you accepted the "free" station. It's not free, it costs $2000. The actual value of the station is ~$500 when purchased alone.. so you are relying on the installation making up the remaining $1500 in cost. Since I wasn't given an invoice for this, I don't know if sacrificing $2000 was a good deal or not. My recommendation to anyone buying a car from this dealership is to come having fully done your research at home. More
