Hi, thanks for responding but the apology is not accepted. I expect a little bit of skullduggery when buying a car - an old filter here, a loose bolt there - but not $1000+ of repairs minimum, not from a reputable dealership. Apologizing only after the dealership got caught isn't a great look. The glaring issue here is that they actively covered it up, even falsifying a state inspection. If they had even just left the issues in plain sight, that would've been another thing. They could have at least fixed the issue when I confronted them on it. I still told them I wanted the car after all this. But no doubt, now they'll just turn around and sell it as-is to someone more trusting. STAY AWAY.
