Purchased 2007 Mazda3. Car was presented well by Jimmy and my daughter liked vehicle. There were some minor body work needed. I bought my first car, a 2010 VW Jetta Limited from Congressional Motors. Lappe was our salesperson, and he was very attentive, friendly, open and responsive to all our needs. Plus he loves Indian food which kind of resonates with us! He was also very patient with our state of indecision--unable to decide between the VW Golf or Jetta. He gave us informed advice on the attributes of each car, and took us out on two test drives. Instead of hard-selling the most expensive model and brand under VW (which was the make we wanted), he focused on what my needs as a first-time car buyer and a rather nervous driver were, such as the car's safety and size. We had some disagreement on the price early on and went back, but he followed up with us constantly, and made us come back with a good deal. Returning turned out to be a great decision in the end since we got the price we wanted and a beautiful car that's extremely safe, loaded with all the essentials, and all in all great bang for our buck. I window shopped at Congressional VW and Mazda on Tuesday night just to compare what was available to purchase and ended up driving home in a brand new 2010 Mazda 3 the next night. A previous Jetta driver, I knew how great VW cars are but I wanted to test drive a Mazda 3 because I liked the look better. We schedule an appointment for the next night which resulted in a in-depth financial discussion, a trade-in and a new car. My overall experience was great and it was a pleasure interacting with each and every employee at Congressional.
