Believe the hyperbole! Let's face it a lot of car dealers will tell you how much the customer really matters, how you're like one of the family, etc., etc. Ninety-nine perce Let's face it a lot of car dealers will tell you how much the customer really matters, how you're like one of the family, etc., etc. Ninety-nine percent of the time it's understood to be part of the typical hyperbole that comes with modern commercial advertising, so you probably can't imagine my consternation when 11 days after the warranty expired on my new (used) car purchase my vehicle developed a significant brake problem. Russ, Gail, and Dan, proved that with Shockley Honda they REALLY do care! Not only did I leave feeling completely satisfied with their response, but with a whole new sense of appreciation for how this dealership values my business. Shockley certainly proved this skeptic wrong - you can believe the hyperbole! Thank you, Shockley! (PS. I'd also like to send a shout out to Joe Sheedy who has taken exceptional care of me & my vehicle over the years.) More

Smooth Used Car Purchase I just purchased a pre-owned BMW X3 from Shockley and the experience was great. Adrienne "Rocky" Livioco helped be though the entire process and answered just about everything I asked. The process of appraising my old car was painless and I feel I got a good price for it. Shawn Bowders from their finance department helped me with the paperwork and was very efficient and informative. He clearly explained everything and got my wife and I through the process in just a few minutes. Also they have a small play area that was great at keeping my two little ones busy while we conducted business. This definitely made things easier. More

Shockley Honda does it again! I corresponded with Brian Douglass via email for a week or so about a new CRV. My wife had a Pilot with payments that were way too high for us to cont I corresponded with Brian Douglass via email for a week or so about a new CRV. My wife had a Pilot with payments that were way too high for us to continue on. We settled on downsizing to a CRV even though my wife really didn't want to because she loves her Pilot. This was her second one. We did the test drive and were looking at numbers at the front desk. Adam Lee, the Internet Sales Manager, was there and we started talking about lease options. Adam had heard about my wife's favor with the Pilot. He asked if he could work up some lease numbers for a new Pilot. I said sure, if you think it is feasible. He was pretty confident that he could come up with some numbers that would work for our situation. We had positive equity in our existing Pilot, so Adam worked with that. Not only did he work numbers that ended up saving us about $350/month, but he was able to put my wife back into a brand new Pilot for that payment. Also, Adam and Brian stayed late to get this deal done, all the way through finance. My wife knew nothing about getting the new Pilot until I got home and she freaked out. I can't thank Shockley Honda enough for the service and personal attention I received. They not only helped out my budget, but also made my wife extremely happy in the process. Thanks Brian and a special thanks to Adam Lee! P.S. They were a little short staffed last night as well, but were still able to accommodate all the customers that came in last night. About 20 minutes after I got there a wave of people came in looking to buy cars. Shockley handled all of them and I didn't see anyone turned away or walk away unhappy. More
Never again I have bought 4 new cars from this dealer. However, my days of buying from them are over. I will not support a dealer that has such terrible customer I have bought 4 new cars from this dealer. However, my days of buying from them are over. I will not support a dealer that has such terrible customer service and a horrendous service department. Once a car dealer loses it's credibility, it's almost impossible to get it back. The final straw with Shockley was when I took my car in for a recall notice. Honda had a recall notice for their power steering hose on certain makes/models (mine included). Although I had never had a problem with my power steering, I thought it was important enough to get it done before it became an issue. After the work was completed, I took my car to my normal repair shop as my car needed an oil change. My mechanic told me I was low on power steering fluid and topped it off. I didn't think much about it at the time as often fluid levels need to settle and topping off is pretty normal. A week later when I had my brakes done, I was told not only was my power steering fluid was low, but that there appeared to be a leak in the system. I found it odd that the dealer would mess up something like recall work, but I called to let them know the situation and was given a run-around. Now I'm going to have to drive my car for two weeks with this problem which is dangerous, and have to continually feed power steering fluid into it until I can give it back to a dealer's service department that I don't trust. Needless to say, Shockley has sold me a car (AND gotten my service work) for the last time. More
