As a younger buyer with limited time, most dealerships were simply not willing to adapt to my preferred style of research and negotiation. Scott Murray was the most responsive and adaptable salesman I have dealt with to date. Scott was willing to communicate via text message to accommodate my schedule. Scott even stayed 2 - 3 hours past his scheduled departure time the night that I picked up the car. Charlie, the sale Manager, was a straight shooter and although he was unwilling to reduce what was already a great deal, he took the time to explain his rationale - which I appreciated. I also dealt with Justin Todd from Finance who did a great job of selling the extended warranty without using the ridiculous scare tactics that I have become accustom to (I am actually considering buying because I liked his sales style and selling points so much). This is not your traditional "slick" dealership and I would encourage any buyer, and particularly younger buyers, to give these guys a serious look. It blew my mind how many dealerships simply seemed uninterested in selling a used car and it was event that the Shockley guys take their job seriously. More

Got our first bill in the mail only to see what was verbally communicated had all been different once we actually read all the small details of the paper work. They made it seem like we were getting a great deal but really all we got was ripped off. Had a meeting and wanted to have this fixed the sales manger blew us off and was extramly rude to us. We were contacted promptly and upon arrival (after an hour drive there), our salesman, Chapin, had the car ready to go. He was kind, answered all of our questions, and just allowed the car to sell itself; we did not feel pressured in anyway. He did his best to see that things went smoothly and that everything was covered. We would definitely make the drive back out to this dealership for future purchases. Ashley, our finance person, was so sweet and, again, very efficient and pleasant to do business with. We would highly recommend this dealership to anyone! More

TJ Troutman was a kind, friendly, no pressure salesperson. I was dreading car buying experience. This experience was the opposite of what I was dreading! TJ was informative and understood what I was looking for in product and price. Terrific experience. I recently had first oil change with my advantage plus program. D an was our contact for this. He was prompt and again, delivered on what was promised in a timely manner. Again a terrific! Buying a car at Shockley and keeping my business locally was a decision I don't regret. I have and will recommend Shockley to anyone in the car buying market. (And.... Love the car anytime car wash perk with my plan!) More
Loved buying my Ridgeline I contacted several dealers because I knew exactly what I wanted. Shockley was upfront with their pricing, which beat everyone else including Edmunds I contacted several dealers because I knew exactly what I wanted. Shockley was upfront with their pricing, which beat everyone else including Edmunds new pricing thing and True Car. The showroom is a great size and there is even an area for kids. The service department is top notch, much faster than another dealer where I bought an Odyssey from. Overall, I'm quite happy with Shockley and I tell everyone about it. More

Jonathan had made this process much easier for me. He was really quick and efficient in the entire process. He takes in account the smallest needs of a customer while finalizing a deal. More

Being over 400 miles away we many numerous phone calls to Jay Martin - to verify condition of the vehicle. He assured us that it was "show room condition" and we wouldn't be disappointed. We reminded him that we were over 400 miles away. Rented a car to make the drive down to purchase the vehicle - only to find that is was far from "showroom condition" Rough condition was a better way to describe it. This vehicle should have been wholesaled! He was non-apologetic, acted as if we were at fault not his representation of the vehicle that was less than truthful! The truck had dents, scratches, and missing body parts. It was a total waste of our time and money (car rental, gas costs, and lodging for a 800 mile trip). More
