I was very happy with how they worked with me so that I could qualify for a loan to get the car I wanted. Everyone there was very personable and nice. I also liked how they had a little play area for my son while I test drove the car and signed paperwork. Honda S2000 Purchase I was looking for a clean Honda S2000 for about 2 months in my area. I am very particular about the cars I own much more than the average owner so fin I was looking for a clean Honda S2000 for about 2 months in my area. I am very particular about the cars I own much more than the average owner so finding the "right" takes a lot. When I stumbled past the ad posted by Shockley Honda online I was originally blown away by their professionalism and quality of photos that were posted. The price for the car was one of those "too good to be true" deals so I had to go check it out in person. I called in was introduced to a sales person and set my appointment. I got to the dealer early walked the lot and looked at the inventory everything there was clean in order. They were a lot of business deals going on but I wasn't forgotten because of my age or looks by the sales associates. I was greeted, asked if i needed any help or wanted any light refreshments. Again I was blown away by the showroom and how clean and professional it looked. It was very clean in order and I NEVER got that sleazy car salesman vibe by walking in the door. I was introduced to my sales associate Dave Forcino and he was great! He wasn't pushy, he was very patient, very nice, made sure I had everything I needed and was extremely accommodating. I can't say anything bad about this guy he did everything in his power to make sure i had a positive experience. We went checked out the car and it was literally immaculate. Being a 8 year old car all the body panels were all straight, clean interior, no chips or scratches in the paint, the engine bay looked like you could eat a steak dinner off if it. As I walked around and saw the price I almost had a heart attack it was easily $2,000-$3000 less than anyone within a 1000 mile radius. I knew at that point if the car test drove good I was going to buy. Being a sports car I was very careful on the test drive to listen for moans and groans nothing negative came up. After the test drive I just wanted to take one good look around the car to ensure this is what I really wanted. Looking and nosing around the car in 20 degree weather with high winds Dave was outside with me the whole time answering all my questions very commendable! Now the scary part in the usual car buying process begun, talking numbers and finding out all the hidden fees, dealer costs, and the usual fluff that some places have. Dave offered me some coffee, and we broke down the costs. Again it was another great experience nothing was surprising, no hidden fees nothing, crunching the numbers went seamlessly. Since I financed the car, the finance department was very fair and speedy with their results and best loan plan. They sat down with me broke everything down, answered every question I had, explained the warranty's, and the bank payments it was all a great experience. I paid my down payment signed on the dotted line a few times and then the car was all mine. This is where the usual car buying experience ends but Dave and the guys at Shockley Honda go a step further helping out their customers. Since I drove to the dealer myself and there is no physical way for me to drive two cars at once. Shockley Honda offered and agreed to help me out and deliver the car to my house! Which is amazing since I live about 75min away from the dealer. To take it a step further they even offered and agreed to send the car out to get detailed one last time, and fill her up with a full tank and deliver her to my house. After the car was all cleaned up Shockley gassed her up and delivered her to my house without a scratch and cleaner than I could ever imagine. Over the next few days I was contacted by Dave to ensure everything was alright with the car and I didn't need any more assistance. Excellent customer service. I don't work for the dealer, and I don't usually write reviews. But when spending thousands of hard earned dollars its nice to know where a good trust worthy place to go is. Shockley Honda is a great dealership and when looking for another vehicle in the future its the first place I'm turning to. More
