Slow Response Time Purchased a brand new Chrysler 200S about 3 months ago. Within a couple of weeks I noticed a gash in my leather seats (that didn't come from me), pass Purchased a brand new Chrysler 200S about 3 months ago. Within a couple of weeks I noticed a gash in my leather seats (that didn't come from me), passive entry only working sporadically, and my headliner falling down around my door jams. After wasted days of leaving my vehicle with them at their dealership, un-returned phone calls, an overall lack of communication and piss poor customer service, I'm still waiting for a new headliner to show up from a different dealership. Maybe I can get that within the next 3 months? Any dealership that doesn't prioritize customers that have purchased brand new vehicles off of their floor and brushes them off with "We'll get back to you when the parts come in", or "Sorry its still not here yet" is a dealership I would think twice about patronizing. In the modern world with Fed-Ex, UPS, and other freight carriers any legitimate car dealership would have a part in the door in a matter of days, not weeks or months. Won't be buying another vehicle here! More

service dept. Bought a 2011 used ram 1500 from dealership. Purchased the 20 free oil changes and tire rotation w/agreement. So i had my first oil change done and the serviceman came back and said i needed a front end alignment and my transfer case fluids were cloudy and needed changed total over 400.00. I told them not now and to just do the oil change. So my next oil change came to be and took it to lees summit dodge since i live closer to. And they said everything is good to go and all services checked out green with no problems on there multi point inspection. I even mentioned to them before hand i might need service on transfer case and alignment. Bottom line olathe dodge lied about needing extra work done just to make a buck. Also sitting in the service waiting room. Everyone in the whole room (not joking) needed a front end alignment for 69$. Id like to say thank you lees summit dodge for not lying to me just to make a buck. And for olathe dodge i will try my hardest to spread the word of your money hungry scam More

Shortly after the warranty things started to go horribly wrong on the vehicle. I was not mad or irate but went in and talked to Mike G and expressed my concerns. Mike took me to his boss and I explained the problems I was having with the vehicle. Troy then said "Bring the vehicle in and I will take care of it." and did they. They fixed everything that was going bad and sent a happy and future returning customer home with a great used car. PS. It's got a Hemi !!! Thanks Mike G. appreciate you hard work. I will be back. Don't know left from right or up from down! I took my 2000 Dodge Durango in to Olathe Dodge to repair a leaking steering rack 02/25/13 invoice S1CS291835 J#6+19HZ1. They somehow managed to put t I took my 2000 Dodge Durango in to Olathe Dodge to repair a leaking steering rack 02/25/13 invoice S1CS291835 J#6+19HZ1. They somehow managed to put the tie rods on backwards when putting it back together! Initially I noticed only a grinding sound when turning completely at or near the maximum turning point as the repair was done before giving the vehicle to be used for my college student. I did drive the vehicle at a later point and noticed the grinding sound almost continuously. I took the vehicle to a local independent mechanic(relative to where the vehicle is now). Goodyear / Great Western Tire in Dodge City KS. The Service department initially was unsure what was going on with it although they identified the same symptom (tie rods grinding against the inside wheel rim). but all "looked to be correct". Kris Schulte asked about recent work that was done that could've been related. I indicated the steering rack replacement by Olathe Dodge. They then ordered a new set of tie rods for a "stare and compare" to the work that was done on my vehicle. Once they saw the newly labeled tie rods from the manufacture they immediately saw that the tie rods were put on incorrectly from the steering rack work improperly performed by Olathe Dodge and were able to correct the problem on the spot! I contacted Bob from the Olathe Dodge service department to explain the situation as likely they had some new or untrained tech use my vehicle as a guinea pig to build their skills on. He did listen however indicate that the work was done by a sr. technician and that the tech assured that the tie rods couldn't be put on wrong (but they were). Needless to say I received no consideration for botched job they did on my Durango. Although I realize new care dealerships are pretty much carpetbaggers selling snake oil and change ownership and all personnel every few years (I think the Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealership I bought my 2000 Dodge Durango, 2000 Dodge Neon, 2005 Jeep Wrangler, and 2005 PT Cruiser has changed hands a least a 5 times in the 15 years I've bought all of my cars from them) I really do try to remain loyal to my local shop. It's always frustrating when I take any of my cars to the dealership I bought it and all the names and faces have changed and I have to explain the work their very location has performed on my cars! Needless to say I have given my "local" Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealership more than a fair chance to keep my business. I'm glad that today of my previously owned 4 new purchased Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicles I only have 1 left.. and will likely never go back to the brand when looking for a new vehicle. More
