At a time where I had been really jaded at Kearney Mesa Subaru over them clearly trying to rip me off, I tried Ocean Subaru of Fullerton because it was near my new job. Jon Soulliere went above and beyond Subaru over them clearly trying to rip me off, I tried Ocean Subaru of Fullerton because it was near my new job. Jon Soulliere went above and beyond to make sure I got excellent top notch service! I know with Jon there that Ocean Subaru will be my first choice for getting my car serviced for all future needs. 0 stars - finance department has horrible customer service. They never pick up or return calls, even after months of attempt. Had to come in person (during this pandemic which is very frustrating) JUS service. They never pick up or return calls, even after months of attempt. Had to come in person (during this pandemic which is very frustrating) JUST to get a response. Finally, dealt with Zayra Medina and she was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I'm sure we all have a lot going on during this pandemic, but I am not sure that justifies being xxxxty to your customers when you've been avoiding all their calls. Also if I've left a message, it is NOT my responsibility to ensure you receive it - that should be company STANDARD. Overall, I do not recommend this dealership. More

Service dept. will beat on your car. I recently purchased a CPO Forester XT from a different Subaru dealer. Ocean Subaru is the closest Subaru dealer to me, so I figured this would be the I recently purchased a CPO Forester XT from a different Subaru dealer. Ocean Subaru is the closest Subaru dealer to me, so I figured this would be the location I go for Service needs. I just took my car in this week with only 13k miles on it, with the A/C already going out. They ended up replacing the A/C condenser. The max turbo boost I had ever driven the car to was 11 psi. I picked up my car from Service and it had been driven to 18.4 psi. I turned right back around and asked the Service dept. why someone had been driving my car so aggressively and they didn't apologize, but told me that the average driving of my car is at 27 psi (absolutely incorrect), and that they were just driving the car under normal circumstances. The max boost my car can run stock is 17-19 psi, and it takes a lot to get it there. There was no reason for them to be beating on my car for an A/C leak. More

I left my car for almost 3 full days (I made an appointment days earlier so it w I do NOT recommend anyone go here for any service related problems!!! I left my car for almost 3 full days (I made an appointment days earlier so it wouldn't take as long) with the check engine light on. On the third day I was informed that they had not even gotten to read the code yet (takes 5 minutes). There was no offer of a loner car or a determination of when the car would be diagnosed let alone repaired. This was the second chance as I had a similar experience about 1 year ago when I brought the car in for the same check engine light on. I had to go back 3-4 times as it was fixed after being misdiagnosed 3 times. It turned out the part needing fixed was under warranty and I had to fight them for months to get my money back (they did refund all my money)! Definitely not worth the time wasted, days out of work and effort I had to put in to have it done properly!!! More
