A year later, my 2 service appointments brought more friendly and helpful Honda employees. The service was great. My car was very well taken care of. Anyone who has had a bad car dealer experience should go to Norms. You will be treated as a very important person and the employees will get you the car you want for a great price. This is my second Honda in 15 years. My next car, if I need one, will be another Honda from Norms! More

My service advisor was great, however, I had a reservation & sat in line for an oil change 21 minutes before the advisor got to me. I also waited 30 minutes for the shuttle & they forgot to reset reservation & sat in line for an oil change 21 minutes before the advisor got to me. The worst service department I ever had to deal with. The first oil change I needed I booked an appointment on line and received a confirmation. I showed up for he appointment only to be told the service department was closed that day. Since then I started having a number of things go wrong. I tried to book an appointment only to receive a call and was told either they don't work on that or they work on another problem only on Mondays. If I want my car fixed I will have to come on a weekday. I was not offered any alternative. The caller made it very clear I had to accommodate them. My truck is five months old and still under the bumper to bumper, too bad I can't get it fixed! No concern for the customer, no concern that my new truck is turning into a price of crap. I now get to spend my time trying to find another service department who will honor my warranty, or at least show some hint of customer service. More

This previous review was not correctly enter--was new to this and I needed to make my point made clearly--it was Sunday, 01/21/13 and I called Norm Reeves Honda Dealership to inquire about an issue with a l this and I needed to make my point made clearly--it was Sunday, 01/21/13 and I called Norm Reeves Honda Dealership to inquire about an issue with a lost key to a 1999 Honday Prelude and spoke to Art, he said the cost would be $26.70 or something like that--this after a specifically described what the problem was--I had the key to get into the car but just couldn't start the car he said "oh, yeah, we can do that, we can re-key it, get another key made . . . Etc, great then he patched me over to service to see if they could fit me in, luckily they had an opening at 11:40a, so I then again asked to be transferred back to Art, who again confirmed the cost and didn't mention anything else. I then arranged for AAA to tow the vehicle from Whittier to Cerritos, by the way I had told them that I would be doing this. I was running behind because the tow truck service was busy and arrived a little late, we finally arrived at the dealership in Cerritos and shortly thereafter spoke to the service rep at the counter who quoted us $500!!! What the xxxx, we told him that we had spoken to Art in the parts dept and the dude with the "blue Honda shirt" proceeded to tell us that the people in the parts dept don't know, they dont' know what is going on and they would need to look into it, you know "crunch the numbers", yeah go crunch something--when they returned they quoted a higher amount $600, this was ludricous. At this time the tow truck driver had the removed the tow mechanism and was preparing to leave, I had to stop him from leaving because we weren't going to stay there and let these people think that we were desperate or helpless that we would fall for their deceiving, false misrepresentation of their services. We made some calls to the local locksmiths and we were able to find a reputable individual who did the job for $280, it was a great job. BEWARE OF THEIR TACTICS!! More
I called Jose Sanchez to ask him what the service code in my car meant, and he called service himself, and found what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He also made an appointment for me.
