Edward W. Napleton, opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise, and when that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. ("Ed") Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today, the Ed Napleton Family operates more than 74 franchises in seven states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

Very misleading advertising. Before purchase concerning website, then after concerning maintenance from a text message that had incorrect information. Very welcoming, no pressure and very accommodating. Highly recommend them for your next vehicle purchase. The only reason for 4 stars is due to not getting our Visa Gift Card honored. Not a big deal, but if you're going to offer it, then you should honor it. Husband bought his car in March 2019 and never received his. Our son purchased his Hyundai in June of 2019 and for some reason our address was under his name and he hasn't lived at home for 4 years. Was told one per household. So if that's the case, my husband should have received his first. All in all, purchases were fantastic and easy. More

First oil change and supposed tire rotation Well, I went in for my first oil and filter change w/ tire rotation. So i called first to confirm if what type of service it was called and how much i Well, I went in for my first oil and filter change w/ tire rotation. So i called first to confirm if what type of service it was called and how much it would cost. I spoke with someone from service and was told it was called a Service 1. Which was the oil change and and tire rotation and it would cost $99. So i asked was an appointment necessary. And was told no, please come on in. So I get there and Michael P greets me and ask the reason for my visit. I tell him what I was there for he said no problem and guides me to the waiting room. after about 45mins he comes and get me and tells me I'm ready and there's no charge. So at that point I'm quite satified with that news and thanks him and leave. On this morning i go out to my vehicle and notice the tires had not been rotated. Now I'm upset and checking the other services that were to be performed. Not happy. Open the hood to find the washed fluid cap open, oil apparently spilled all over the filler neck area and not cleaned up on my new engine. Oil level was literally low ( quart and a half). I recommend this dealership 100%. Walking in the door at Napleton Hyundai felt very welcoming and the service was awesome. The sellsman Aldo listened to our concerns and wasn’t trying to force anything on u Napleton Hyundai felt very welcoming and the service was awesome. The sellsman Aldo listened to our concerns and wasn’t trying to force anything on us and worked to the fullest to make sure we were happy and comfortable with our decision. If you are thinking about getting into a new car I recommend going to Napleton Hyundai and ask for Aldo. Brian Anderson and the rest of the Management team were great with making sure all the paper work was accurate and the process went thru smoothly. I am happy with my choice of car and grateful that Aldo and the management team worked hard to get me out of my trade and into a brand new 2020.
