I will start by saying I love my new (used) truck and the sales lady did help out a lot and she stayed after hours to make sure I got the deal I needed. However, since it was so late the finance department sales lady did help out a lot and she stayed after hours to make sure I got the deal I needed. However, since it was so late the finance department finished the paperwork and was going to overnight my copies to me, that was a week and a half ago and I still have no paperwork. Then on a 2020 Ram with 5,000 miles they only gave me 1 key. I asked them about the other key and the lady said she would find it and mail it to me, 1 1/2 weeks and nothing. I called the dealership about these issues and was told everyone was busy and they would take a message and have someone call me, still haven't heard from anyone. I also asked about the 1/2 tank of gas and the answer I got was that they only do 1/2 tank on used vehicles. Don't know if I would recommend this dealership, we'll see. UPDATE: been over a month and I still haven't received a second key to my truck. More
Absolutely horrible. Found a car I liked and initially was extremely insulted by the trade in offer. They did do good about getting me back in there. We agreed on a price and made the deal. Completed the paperwork twice, after noticing they had the town wrong. Not a big deal. 9 days later I get a call saying " your payment is going down" which really meant that the deal was rejected as THEY submitted. They submitted a $7000 2 year extended warranty instead of the $5000 we discussed. Then they claimed they lowered it to 5K due to my Out of pocket repairs. This was another LIE. I had to go back up there and do paperwork a third time, which I still do not have all of the final copies of, only the contract. My vehicle still had not passed inspection at that time. I also discovered that the front GM Magneride struts and rear electronic shocks were very bad and leaked out causing horrific ride. This repair was $2500, GPS roof antenna was bad, third brake light cracked as well. $3400 into this car before I even got the title and the warranty does not cover " maintenance". I was told to come back AGAIN for a retest. I went up there with 8 days left to register and guess what? Did not pass again. Alex tells me "drop in next week and we will rerun". As of yesterday I'm now past the 30 days to register and still no inspection. I call to advise I was coming in the morning and he says" the next 9:00 am is next Tuesday"! When I brought up the fact that he told me to drop in any time , he then said " the machine is down" Lies. Then I discovered wires hanging from the dash. After investigating I discovered a GPS tracking device. I called and was told, " ALL NAPLETON VEHICLES HAVE THESE KAHU TRACKERS" Are you kidding me? Is this even legal? I found several threads online about people discovering these devices as well. I will have the emissions done somewhere else, pay the late fees and make sure nobody I know has this happen to them. Unfortunately this was the exact car I wanted otherwise I would have delivered it back at the first set of lies. IN MISSOURI ALL VEHICLES MUST PASS INPECTION AT TIME OF DELIVERY! Still has not passed inspection! pics of GPS unit, one of the struts and the smoked antenna. Darren Hall was FANTASTIC! He was the salesman. The only one who actually cares about the customers! 02/25/21. UPDATE. paid another shop to run emissions, passed, went to dmv to register. THE TITLE PAPERWORK WAS COMPLETELY MESSED UP. IT TOOK AN HOUR TO CORRECT. NAPLETON IS INCOMPETENT!!!!!! More
$1500 used vehicle lot ready fee that came with a 1/2 tank of fuel, low DEF, low wiper fluid, dirty interior (headliner/dash), past due fuel filter change and a check engine light the next day (three and tank of fuel, low DEF, low wiper fluid, dirty interior (headliner/dash), past due fuel filter change and a check engine light the next day (three and a half days in the shop). What did I pay for? While I felt the sales manager was being a bit condescending (as I believe he thought my insistence Napleton pay for the fuel filter change was unreasonable), with a bit of a hassle he did eventually refund some money, and paid for the fuel filter and cleaned the headliner etc. Not sure I will go back just yet but time will tell as we see how the service contract and any (hopefully none) warranty work goes. Lakesia (sales), Jeff (finance), and Justine (service) were really nice. More
