2008 Rav4 Toyota Repairs I am very concerned that your dealership over priced the repairs, because we were in another city and at their mercy. Thinking that they would be fair and honest and not take advantage of the situation. my insurance had it towed their to find out whether the car was not running due to an accident that had occurred. Your servicemen later found out it was just the alternator,and battery. I have a copy of the repairs which is unbelievable the labor is 750.00 dollars and the parts 542.00. Anyone who knows where the parts are that they replace knows it doesn't take $750.00 in labor. I think that is what they were counting. So asking someone from this dealership to step in and review the repair form. I am going to submit this form to the Better Business. Due to the fact that I have research the parts and labor which came out to be less than half the amount Mollie Toyota is charging. Where did they get this outrageous amount$1,327.39. I am told this computer update will fix issues I had while towing a trailer without any clear explanation why towing a 4,000 lb. trailer/load wasn't a problem but pulling an empty horse trailer was a huge problem. I have also learned this update came out over a year ago and yet was not done to my truck which I bought in May of this year from your dealership. More

There have been problems with quality control in the past, including an improperly installed oil cap that resulted in a leak, but at least the car was able to be driven back to the service station. This latest incident involved blue clouds of smoke, engine failure at highway speeds, being towed into the service shop, and missed work--all because someone did not properly check the dipstick oil levels or take a quick test drive after the maintenance. Jorge did his best with a bad situation, but was betrayed by the technicians in the back. And though it is minor in comparison: what happened to the complimentary car wash? More
