Modesto Subaru did not perform Certified Pre-Owned Inspection as indicated on the provided Inspection Checklist. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2024 Subaru Outback Limited XT (stock# 58752L) on 10/ Inspection as indicated on the provided Inspection Checklist. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2024 Subaru Outback Limited XT (stock# 58752L) on 10/31/2024. Per provided Certified Pre-Owned Inspection Checklist dated 08/29/2024 and signed by Evan Rosarro, (1) the cabin was checked for abnormal smells/odors from vents. (2) the air filter was inspected/replaced. While driving the vehicle home from the dealership, a smell was detected from within the cabin. Upon arriving home, I inspected the cabin air filter. The air filter was observed to be excessively dirty/clogged with dirt/leaves and presented a pungent odor. Due to the circumstances I must assume the other items on the checklist were also not completed. The vehicle will need to be serviced. I live two hours from the dealership. Returning the vehicle for a service is not practical. Modesto Subaru did not meet minimum expectations. More
