I called for a quote on a set of tires. After price check with Discount Tires I was told $99 each plus installation. I remember commenting on what a difference it was. Since this was a few dollars cheaper than other quotes, I agreed. They came after my car Monday ( I cannot drive at this time). Tuesday morning the called and asked what quote I had been given. I told them $99. Nothing else was said. When they brought my car back they handed me a copy of the bill. On inspection I see they have charged me $199 per tire. When I called to ask about it, I was told I had not heard correctly or perhaps there was static on the phone. I told them that had not happened. Even if I had misunderstood, why was nothing said when I was called and plainly told them my quote was $99? Why was the bill handed to me as if nothing was different than we had discussed? I was told by friends not to use the Chevy house here. I guess I should have listened More
