Renew annual state safety inspection Had forgotten that my state safety inspection was due to expire in two days. Not Recommended Friendly salesman as expected when receiving a vehicle with underlying issues that wouldn’t be detected on a test drive. I went to Midpoint Chevrolet Friendly salesman as expected when receiving a vehicle with underlying issues that wouldn’t be detected on a test drive. I went to Midpoint Chevrolet Buick GMC in good faith, that’s when I brought a 2008 Chevrolet 1500 very nice looking on the outside and drove very good for the test drive. A week into ownership of the truck I noticed steering play and noise coming from the front end, that was a result from the tie rod ends and ball joints that needed replacing but at the dealer I was told and promised that the truck was mechanically inspected and found in good working order according to there mechanics. Two weeks into owning the truck the transmission started to slip and the tire pressure system needs to be replaced due to improperly mounting the tires that came on the truck when I brought it now it’s parked and I’m deciding rather to pay to have it fixed or just cut my losses. Overall very disappointed in the dealership and wouldn’t recommend anyone buy vehicles from there I’m not saying that it couldn’t have been a mistake by the professionals that inspect vehicles that they sale but I sure hope it was that would mean a lot more to me than just being plainly lied to by the sales man. I wasn’t expecting a new truck being a older model but I was expecting it to be road ready as I was promised I hope this helps future car buyers and hopefully no one else will have the same experience. More
