Terrible would be an understatement! I bought my Mustang at Metro ford in Nov 2017 and my experience was good. On 6/28 I brought my car in for the 15K service. I was travelling and had a I bought my Mustang at Metro ford in Nov 2017 and my experience was good. On 6/28 I brought my car in for the 15K service. I was travelling and had a 6pm appointment 150 miles away. I show up at around 12.30. Figured it would take a couple of hours max and I should make it to my meeting on time. The person at the service center says it should be 2 hours at the most and please wait in the waiting area.I dont hear from anybody until 2:30 so I go to check. The earlier individual is not there any more. Another person on the counter next to him says he will check and get back to me. He is gone for 15 minutes. He comes back to tell me they had forgotten about my car and will get started right away and it shouldn't take more than 30 min. I thought this was Insensitive! Incompetent and untruthful! The initial sales person shows up in the meanwhile and doesnt give a S$#$! I said can I just have the car back cause I need to be some place 150 miles away by 6. I was worried they might damage something in a hurry. I called the car saleswoman who sold me the car initially to complain about this. I was frustrated and wanted to convey to her my dissatisfaction.Never heard from anybody in follow up. They dont care. They have incompetant people doing nothing and getting paid. I would avoid this place. In general the future belongs to electric cars. Albany area is slow to catch up but soon these kind of places will becomes archaic. Large wasteful money guzzling service centers will become obsolete. The only way they can survive is by becoming excellent service providers. Quick, efficient and very personable which Metro ford was not in my experience. Sorry for being so harsh but this was exactly the way I felt when that saleman wasted 2 hours of my time and I had to rush on 90E to get to my meeting. More
