Decent work, but horrible communication I had a 3pm appointment for a basic oil change. We had several "free ones" on the account from when we purchased the vehicle in November. I arrive I had a 3pm appointment for a basic oil change. We had several "free ones" on the account from when we purchased the vehicle in November. I arrived just before 3pm, handed off my keys, and let them know I was staying and waiting. When I went to the waiting area, there were about 5 other people waiting as well. I was never told it would be a long wait or that they were busy. At 5pm, I saw my vehicle come up front, so I stood up and wandered around a bit waiting for them to bring my keys out and tell me it was done. At 5:20, I went out to the desk to check and was told it would be another 20-30minutes and they have been very busy since the 4th of July holiday. I asked why he hadn't informed me of this when i made the appointment or even when I got there at 3pm. He brushed it off. I went back and sat down, 10 minutes later, he came out with my keys. When I went to the cashier, they were trying to charge me and when the girl at the cashier tried to call service, no one answered. It took another 10 minutes to get that sorted out. This happens every time that I have to use Metro service. A little bit of communication goes a long way. I live 40 minutes away and had I known this was going to be a 3 hour ordeal, I would have made other arrangements. Or even if they just made me aware when I arrived that they were backed up/busy, I wouldn't have been upset. Instead whenever you walk out to the service desk, they are all standing around laughing. I get they are a large company and if one person doesn't come back, another one is already walking through the door, but it's just such poor customer service. More

They make you wait forever without keeping you updated I recently brought my in warranty vehicle for an inspection. There was also a sensor that kept blinking that I wanted them to look at. I got there at 12:15 for a 12:30 appointment didn't get out until 3:30 and they did not keep me updated unless I asked. I sat there and rotted.. not happy with metro right now..and on top of that they were unable to fix it and told me I had to come back because "I had to leave" More

( I will not use their names) i spoke to the dealership on a Thursday about two issues and was told I would get a call on Friday with answers. Of course no call but on Saturday I received a call from a young lady at the dealership who informed me I must come on to put a deposit on the car or it was being sold on Sunday. I reminded the young lady the dealership was closed on Sunday and I did not appreciate the attempt to pressure me into buying the car. I asked her about the two issues I asked about on Thursday, of course she had no knowledge of my issues. She called back with answers to my issues then said the finance manager wanted $500 to hold the car, I told her she will get $100 take it or leave it. They agreed and I bought the car on Monday. It if wasn’t for Joe Shanks (salesman) I would have walked. The finance department was unprepared and need training on customer service!! More
