The MB Loved all facets of European Delivery of my MB S550 Coupe. But if you are contemplating this program Take care, some dealers are unscrupulous. The MB tour packages are included, as a line item, on the MSRP window sticker. With European delivery, the sticker is placed in trunk pocket. My dealer charged my credit card for the tour in advance and then included the Full MSRP in the cap price of my lease. Note that besides the cost of the package you also wind up paying local sales tax on an item not normally taxable. In addition, the lease had to be printed 4 times before I would approve it (the finance dept. at any dealership is really a secondary profit center) first we got rid of the "dealer Fee" paying the rent and utilities should be a function of overhead, imagine going to the super market and being asked to pay a "Grocers Fee). Next was $1,200 worth of useless sealers tacked on. After that the "Acquisition Fee" was attacked (if there really is one when dealing through MBFS), It was reduced by their so called "Dealer mark-up". The dealer is now in defensive mode. Problem #1: there's noticeable dent on upper right front door, close to the mirror, Problem #2: they're damaged and scratches on Front right leather seat, Problem #3: the rear right back seat still look unbalance and tired, Problem #4: Full tank of gas was promised upon car delivery, car arrived with 1/2 tank, Problem #5: All interiors are dirty, especially floor mats, asked for new mats, but got rejected, The dent located on upper right front door, it can't be fix with dent repair, car ends up in the body shop for more than 10 days, the entire right hand side of car sanded & repainted(all snapshots are available to proof), All CPO documents had all inspections done & marked passed, I assumed buying a Mercedes CPO car is hassle free as a owner of 15+ Mercedes in past 20+ years, Contact MBUSA/Customer Care few times, spoke to Gabrielle(Employee ID#6346) and Activity ID#1380938031 filed, spoke to another MBUSA/Inspector Justin(Employee ID#6302) and emailed few time, no help or reply from MBUSA, now that I'm totally disappointed with Mercedes, I won't buy any Mercedes from now on, as matter of facts, I'll sell all my other Mercedes, C63, E350 and SL, Mercedes-Benz of Escondido is the worst dealership I ever deal with, both Internet Sales Manager Randy Johnson and General Manager Rhett Saunders did not take care of customer professionally, MBUSA shouldn't allow such dealership ruin their reputation, More

After we purchased the car I noticed a few small dents which John Bober facilitated the removal of through the service department. Our experience at the service department has been all good. Jeff Jennewein is our service rep. He goes the extra mile routinely. As a professional, I can appreciate the 2/11 rule: Do something good and 2 people hear about it. Do something bad and 11 people hear about it. All the other satisfied customers should reply on this posting. They are busy! They must be helping other people besides us. We purchased a 2012 Mercedes C class in Feb minus one key and the owners Manuel. John , our sales person promised to get us these missing items within 5-7 days .....27 days later , no key or manual. We're informed that the key was lost in transit and Al , the sales manager, said he'd didn't have the authority to order a new key for us ($500) too expensive ! Indicated that he would check with the other sales managers but didn't get around to it because he was too busy ! Our attempt at resolving the problem was met with similar apathy from the General Manager, Jason Cestaro.....he never called us back when we asked for a meeting . Problem still not resolved . More

beware before repair I have been going to Mb of Escondido for over 15 years. We are a five car family and have been repeatedly disappointed by poor repairs. My current situation with them is as follows; I take my 2006 slk55 amg in for a basic service. Like usual they upsell me a couple extras I'm sure I didn't need. I pick up my car and it was running really rough. By the time I got home it was shaking like a paint mixer and blowing smoke out of the tailpipe. I have to have it towed back to the dealer because the check engine light went on. They call and tell me it needs 2000.00 in parts, but they're not sure it will fix the problem. I tell them I want to pick up the car to take it elsewhere. I specifically ask my service guy if they where able to get the check engine light to go off, and he told me yes. I go to pick up the car, when I get in it, the check engine light is still on. With mechanical experience, I explain how I determined the issue happened due to something they had done. After some warm discussion they pull they car readings from before the work they had done. The readings for those 2000.00 parts were good. They then agreed to fix the issue at their own expense. They call me the next day telling me that the car is ready, but they couldn't actually find the problem. They did something to get the check engine light off, but the car is still undriveable. Large plums of smoke fill my 2 car garage every start and even burns oil while driving. My son and I found the issue, we didn't have to take anything apart. We took off the oil fill cap with the engine running and found crankcase pressure pumping out like an exhaust pipe. This is a highly damaging condition. Amg international contacted me and told me to file a "tips" case with the dealership so that Mercedes international can get involved to help me. I get no help or concern from the current dealership staff. More
Irresponsible i had a great service advisor for 8 years. after he left MBZ of Esc threw me to the wolves. a basic service cost me $1,100+ after they offered me a 10 i had a great service advisor for 8 years. after he left MBZ of Esc threw me to the wolves. a basic service cost me $1,100+ after they offered me a 10% "good customer discount". they said i had all kinds of leaks of something or other although my garage floor was clean. i trust mercedes more than i trust my doctor and believed that the car probably needed whatever they said. when they delivered the car to me my door locking mechanism was broken. i was basically called a fibber by my new service advisor Jeff, the service manager Adolfo, and the GM would not return my calls. i'll let you know how well they do against me in court. i did not buy this car from them because they wanted $8,250 more then Mercedes-Benz of Anaheim. the receptionists and people answering the phones deserve 5 stars, the others ZERO.
