First time buyer, fantastic experience TLDR: great dealership, great people to work with. just because they don't always have the lowest sticker prices doesn't mean you shouldn't try them! I was very nervous buying my very first new car with my husband. I'm not into uncertainty and I hate haggling. We knew we wanted the Chevy Bolt, and another much larger south shore dealer had a better price on the internet. We did a little research on DealerRater and found this other dealer to have pretty bad reviews (3ish stars), with a lot of similar reviews about broken promises in the finance office. Mirak was closer and had great reviews, so although their sticker price was higher, we decided to test drive there and just check it out. We worked with Brett J., who was knowledgeable, always available, and treated us with respect and honesty. After test driving, we spent some more time researching, calling around to several local dealerships. We were trying to save money (of course), so we called up the larger dealership I mentioned above. Immediate difference: we were spoken to in an angry, impatient tone rattling off a bunch of numbers. We REALLY hoped we would not have to go to that dealership to get the better price. We returned to Mirak and connected with Brett about if he would be able to match that price. I'm sure it was at least partially luck, but they were able to, all while making it a clear, respectful, easy experience. We worked with Steve on the financing and everything was clearly explained, and he was also great at answering questions. There were some upselling attempts but nothing high pressure or dishonest. We read through everything and every t was crossed and i was dotted, and drove the car home just a few days after the paperwork was signed! I'm so glad we did our research on DealerRater and didn't immediately jump for the lowest sticker price on the internet! As long as we're buying Chevys, we'll be Mirak customers. Family owned business, and the quality of people working there is so high. More
