Keith, I do appreciate your business and am sorry for the way you feel. When we spoke on Tuesday morning, you indicated that you felt you were misled as to the price of new Grand Cherokees. I asked you to come in and we would find a vehicle that worked for you. The sales manager that worked with you the previous day was not here, so I did not know exactly what you and he had discussed, but you indicated that he told you that a new Grand Cherokee with the same options as the pre-owned Grand Cherokee would be approximately $10,000 more. Troy showed you a couple of Grand Cherokees and you finally determined that a Grand Cherokee that had MSRP of approximately $52,275 had the right options for you. With rebates and discounts, you would have been at $47,164, which was nearly $10,000 more than the $37,200 for the pre-owned Grand Cherokee, which does seem to agree with what we discussed in our phone conversation on Tuesday morning. Nonetheless, I apologize if you feel you were misled or mistreated. I do value you and your wife as customers and individuals. Well, you should have said that then, it seems a little late now. And that is not what was said. He told me that you couldn't get but a few thousand off a new jeep, and your site gives between or around 5,000 - 6,000, off 2018 jeeps. He knew exactly what option I was looking for and that was memory seats, so I didn't have to bend over and adjust the seats to get in. He even made a joke, which I thought was out of line and said something like everyone could look at my xxx while I adjusted them. The only reason we didn't get the 300 is because you can't get memory seats and AWR and we didn't want another 300 with RWD. So, that really was the options we wanted, All wheel drive, front would have been OK, and memory seats. Again, looking at your site, it appears the limited has both options, and I could have bought for basically the same price as the used 2016. Yes, he did say that they were 10,000 more but he was comparing the Overland model. When I said I wanted to look at the new ones, he didn't say, that you didn't have any, which you didn't. he said they cost wouldn't be worth it and they would cost 10,000 more because they were not discounted much. I said I thought I would wait and see what USAA had and he said they don't have much of a discount and someone said something, which I didn't hear, but he repeated what they were saying, which was that USAA didn't have much of a discount. Visiting their website, they did have good discounts but were in line with yours, both far above what he was telling us. Also, the vehicle at the time he said that, was 39,999, at the time we were talking and he said it would cost me about 10,000 more or about 50,000 for a new one. Ie.. $52,000 minus $2,000 not 52,275 minus $5,111 Even if I would have decided on the overland, which you didn't have, it has options that the 2016 didn't have, it would have been almost $3,000 less than what he was saying. I didn't see the Overland and we don't know that we wouldn't have gotten the Stirling edition, which was a lot less. If you ask Troy, it was about how the seating felt at that time, not options. When they said that your dealership could get one, they said it would be about an hour. We left and were told he would get someone to get it and would text us before they left and when they got back. It was about an hour and a half before they texted us that they were living, so, we would have had to wait another hour. After an hour and a half wait already, and you had talked to us and didn't really ask or say anything about what happened, we told him to forget it. Keith
