I purchased 2012 Chevrolet Traverse from Matt Saxe Chevrolet. I have been doing all of my maintenance work at the dealership, and have been very satisfied with the service. Had an oil change done with a tire rotation. Every thing went well until I was driving home from the cabin a few weeks later and got a flat tire. I then had to change the flat in on a sunny, 90+ degree heat day with a crying toddler. It turns out that the dealer ship over filled my tires by 16 PSI which caused my valve stem to leak. Don't get your vehicle serviced here. If they cant even fill your tires to the correct PSI, they are not capable of doing anything correctly. More

It was a hour drive. Due to construction, I was running a few minutes late so I called to tell them. When I arrived they told me the vehicle was loaned out the night before and wouldn’t be back until later in the afternoon. Why didn’t they tell me when I called??. I wasted my morning. I was ticked but very interested in the vehicle so I made arrangements for them to bring it to me for a test drive. I loved it. We drafted an ‘agreement to purchase’. The salesman couldn’t get a hold of someone back at the dealer, so he was going to get back to me in the morning with some details. Around noon he called and left a message saying he wanted to ‘touch base’ because he ‘had a couple of things to discuss’ and requested I give him a call back. I assumed we needed to set a date for delivery, etc. I called him back a little after 4:00 and got his voicemail, I requested he leave some details in a voicemail, text or email with what info he needed. I didn’t hear back so I texted him the next day asking when I could pick up the vehicle, he responded that they had sold it to someone else. It didn’t matter I had a signed agreement to purchase. Who does business like that? More

I moved back to Belle Plaine about five years ago and stroll through the lot a few times a month to window shop Corvettes. I was in auto sales for several years and had always been self-conscious about w stroll through the lot a few times a month to window shop Corvettes. I was in auto sales for several years and had always been self-conscious about wasting a sales persons time should they up me since I am primarily just a tire kicker. I was astounded that during these five years that not once did a single sales person up me while I was looking. That changed on Saturday when a young man named Matty walked out to greet me. I immediately told him that I wasn't buying that day or any day soon but told him the same story I am laying out here and thanked him for his attention and encouraged him to keep doing what his peers are not doing. I would encourage any would be Matt Saxe customers to ask for young Matty. He is a very pleasant young man eager to help who isn't sitting at his desk waiting for a customer to come find him. Sales folk who wait for the customer to find them seldom deliver as good of customer service as folks like Matty who are out looking for people to help. From the long haired guy that you greeted Saturday afternoon Matty keep on doing what you're doing and you will have a great future in the industry. Tip O the cap to you young man.
