Mistakes made, but resolved with satisfaction I had a 11:30 AM appointment for which I arrived 5 minutes early. I was pleased to see my name & vehicle on the appointment screen in the staging are I had a 11:30 AM appointment for which I arrived 5 minutes early. I was pleased to see my name & vehicle on the appointment screen in the staging area. I gave the service advisor my key and told him I wanted a front end alignment only because I had hit a curb, and had since then replaced all four tires with new ones. I went to the customer lounge to wait. At 1:05 PM, I had become chilled and needed to stretch my legs. I went to the service staging bay to sit on the bench there and warm up. To my dismay, my car is where I left it when I arrived. I sat on the bench, and after a few minutes someone got in my car and drove it into the service area. A few minutes later, the service advisor came out and apologized for the delay, explaining he was surprised to come back from lunch to see my car had not been serviced. Upon checking, he had learned there were problems with service equipment and my vehicle would be completed shortly. Within 30 minutes, my vehicle was returned to the staging area where I was sitting. The advisor was very personable and did not charge for the alignment because of the extended wait. Only 4 stars for the service because the advisor and I should have been made aware that there was going to be a delay with the equipment needed to perform the alignment. A positive review, and a recommendation because I was compensated for the wait. Kudos to the advisor who was sympathetic with my discomfort (I have an obvious disability, and have difficulty walking as well as prolonged sitting or standing). More
