at the time of mr. shaw purchase south east toyota was not offering a power lift gate option on the highlander sport. he was told he could order one but would forfeit the incentive that was in place in december. at the time there was a special apr program going on. he was further told that the only wasy to get a power lift gate was to buy a highlander ltd. he chose to do so. marietta toyota did exactly what they said they would do according to our contract. we expected mr.shaw to do the same

I was not given the option to order the Sports version even if I forfeit the incentive (I had to forfeit the deposit that I gave in good faith). Not only that the sales person refused to even look at Toyota's website where it listed the power rear door option. He said that he didn't care what the website says. Also, he said they are not Toyota, they are Marietta Toyota dealership. Trying to put distance between their dealership and the company whose product it sold. I was also told that the Sports comes with 17" wheel, which wasn't a biggie but another information that I found to be inaccurate. If it was just that I would have been ok with the way things went down. It's the yelling, guys acting totally unprofessionally and the managers being unapologetic about the whole incident that made me decide to post this review to warn potential buyers. There was nothing I did to warrant that kind of behavior.

At the time of Mr Shaw's purchase, December 19,2009, South East Toyota was not offering a power lift gate option on the Highlander Sport. As I explained to Mr. Shaw, this was not an option available to any dealer in the south east region at that time. He was concerned about receiving the special finance option that was available at the time of purchase. When he purchased his vehicle, he was informed that if we could special order the Highlander Sport model with the power lift gate, he would not be entitled to the special APR that was available in December. Mr. Shaw fully understood that the only way to get a Highlander with the power lift gate was to purchase a Highlander LTD. Perry

the customer came in to buy a highlander with a price from another dealership. when we refused to meet the price they became belligerent and was asked to leave. they continued to make a scene and had to be asked to leave again at which time they did. seeing how competitive our market is it is very unlikely the bought a new car for thousands less than we would sell one for. we pride ourselves on being competitive and have done business in this community for over 25 years

I have all your emails. You did not disclose your fees and misled me as to the price knowing I would be flying in from a long disatance.
