We had been looking for a Ford Mustang GT 5. 0 for over a year. We were lucky to find what we were looking for at Maguire Ford in Ithaca. We were even luckier to have the good fortune of working 0 for over a year. We were lucky to find what we were looking for at Maguire Ford in Ithaca. We were even luckier to have the good fortune of working with Kassie in Sales, as well as her manager, Tyler. Kassie has a laid back, no pressure, demeanor, and worked very hard to close our sale. Working with her was more like visiting with a friend. She didn't hesitate to fulfill any request we had, and Tyler did the same. We will not hesitate to refer friends and family to Maguire, and look forward to doing business with them again in the future. More

The vehicle was sold CPO and was under CPO warranty until end of May. I naively assumed that at the time of the CPO, they would have put in a new battery and so the battery was still covered under the battery warranty. Maybe, maybe not, it turns out. In retrospect, the ratty looking battery should have tipped me off. I had trouble with the battery. I took the vehicle in. Ithaca = potholes + bad winter. The good is that they were able to get me in. I had to leave the car with them but they were able to get me in and for that I am thankful. That's why they get a fair rating. I am used to superlative service from Lincoln. They would pick me up, service my car, give me a loaner. I am used to very honest and frank service with the tech at the last place I would go. I do not perceive that to be the case here. My bad maybe for being too trusting. You decide. But isn't that why we take the car to the dealer -- so you don't have to deal with the haggling and the uncertainty? Monro will change a battery in zilch time but will they properly reset everything? Will they check the alternator to ensure it's ok? Will they check for a parasitic current draw? These things take seconds but if not done and you have an issue then, cost days to fix later. I left the car and came back. When I returned, they said the battery was a goner and I needed to get a new one. Keep in mind that this car has only seen 36,000 miles and was CPOed. Anyways, fine. I was quoted $458, which I thought was high. But then I realised they wanted to charge me for testing the battery if I didn't get the battery, which was gonna be 30 mins labor ($85 + tax). Complicating matters, the tech said the car would not start if I went out to it. He had to jump the car. The battery was dead. I got the battery. Came home, and called my old dealer. 1. My dealer, who has more Lincoln years under his belt than anyone at this dealership, said the tech would not have moved the car. It made no sense. The battery tester is portable. Ok, check 1 -- being lied to. A small lie but a lie. Never pleasant -- the car would not have started but he did not jump the car. Tell me the truth. Don't embellish. 2. My dealer and all the dealerships he knows offer free battery testing because it takes 30 seconds. Open the hood and connect the tester. That is what I thought too. Check 2 -- being charged 30 mins of labor for battery testing. 3. The total cost of $458 was more than it should have cost. You don't have to remove the shroud to get to the battery. Check 3 -- being charged for extra labor. I paid the money and left. Fine. Whatever. But here is the thing. This was a battery replacement. if this is what happens with a battery replacement then what happens when things go wrong? Can you imagine if one has an accident? So congratulations to Lincoln Maguire Ithaca on making a few bucks on me. This car is likely going to get traded in soon because low profile tires + route 13 = sheer frustration. In sum, guess who will not be buying a new vehicle from Lincoln Ithaca? Also, guess who bought a clamp tester on Amazon. I am willing to bet they did not test for parasitic draw and they did not test the alternator. The battery system seems reprogrammed but these things are key when a battery dies. Sure, it could be the battery and age + vibrations + weather. But it could also be a fault in the electric system and/or the alternator. Moral of the story -- buyer beware. Were this a tire shop, they would get 4 stars. You expect to get ripped off. It's not but its run like one. Treat it like one and I guess you will be fine. More
Start to finish, Jota worked tirelessly with my family to ensure my daughter received the right fit for her needs. She is a young driver, and this is her first car loan. He personally drove her and her father from lot to lot, looking at every vehicle. He was patient, understanding, tolerant, professional, and transparent. This was probably the easiest car buying experience we have ever had as a family. Even after her purchase, she drove him crazy with questions, and he answered continuously. Excellent Service! Hands down, Jota was and IS the BEST!! More
