Sales Rep had over-boooked both himself and the sample car for the new Mini Countryman S ALL4. Worse yet, he had flat-out lied about the availability of a manual model of the car being available to test car for the new Mini Countryman S ALL4. Worse yet, he had flat-out lied about the availability of a manual model of the car being available to test drive. As late as 11 AM that same day, he failed to contact me and let me know it wasn't available. When it became clear that we were not going to buy a car without test driving the exact model (a fact I had repeated to him SEVERAL times via e-mail), be became dismissive and down-right condescending to my wife, who, if he had taken the time to talk to her, is an even bigger car buff than me. This whole experience has soured me on Otto's and possibly MINI in general. Ranks as the worst car shopping experience I have had in 30 years. More

Got a 2010 Clubman. Had a great experience with Michelle. She's tech savvy, which was nice because I prefer to email v. using the phone. Michelle was a great help. I pretty much knew what I wanted but she was able to help me with many of the details and intricacies and when it came time to pick it up she went out of her way to make sure wanted but she was able to help me with many of the details and intricacies and when it came time to pick it up she went out of her way to make sure my cellphone was connected and working. The car has not had a single issue that needed attention in the 7 months I have owned it. Purchasing my Mini at Otto's was the best car buying experience I've had yet. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly and there's none of that car buying nonsense that I've run into while purchasin experience I've had yet. I had been talking to Michelle on the phone about Mini Clubmans. I had a lease that was ending and had also wanted a Mini. Michelle and I met in person at the dealership and ordered my new Mini. She was very accomodating and had an in depth knowledge of everything. She made some valuable suggestions on options and I am so pleased I followed her advice. My Mini came in to the port about 6 weeks later and there was a freak accident and it was totaled at the port. Michelle quickly came to the rescue and ordered my Mini again and this time it was here in 4 weeks, just in time for my lease termination. I couldn't be happier with my 2010 Sparkling Silver Mini Clubman. Even though the problem with my first Mini was not the dealer's fault, they took full responsibility for it and fixed the problem.
