Greeted immediately upon walking in door. Waited 5-10 Greeted immediately upon walking in door. Waited 5-10 minutes for a sales person (although the store at the time wasn't busy at all). Test drove the car we were interested in. Expressed enough interest to price a new Mini. Worked through that laborious task. Then, said we had a trade in. It was a manufacturer and model that Zimbrick sells. 45 minutes later after waiting and waiting and waiting, they low ball a used trade in price that is absolutely a slap in the face. They would have made $6000 on the trade. I said no thanks and was pressured into providing a number that would make me happy. I told the sales person I did not want to, but eventually did. I was called back and told "good news!" They had matched my price. Well, during that time, I had done enough research to find out the number I provided was WAY too low and I told her that. She promised to do further research and call back as soon as she had done some additional research. Six days later, no call or message. Sorry, but if you don't want my business, that's fine. I can go somewhere else that will be happy to take my money for a new car. Furthermore, she knew that we frequently buy new cars, so she also screwed up a long term customer relationship. Now, I'm soured on Zimbrick entirely -- it's unfortunate that Zimbrick has a LOT of car dealers in the area. We've bought 4 new cars from Zimbrick, and had trouble with them in the past at other dealerships they own .... Not recommended. Also -- since the car is a Mini, you may have trouble with maintenance work if you don't continue to live near a Mini dealer, as warranty work can only be done at Mini dealers. There aren't very many of them. More
