The All new staff in the service department, I found very unfriendly not welcoming. This unfriendly service attitude is totally opposite what this department has been like for me as a customer for 12 years! unfriendly not welcoming. Always fantastic and friendly service. Prices could be a bit lower and more competitive. And the 15 word minimum almost turned me away from leaving any feedback at all so reco removing that limitation. Not bit lower and more competitive. Unfriendly, unwelcoming receptionist. Poor job of referring to client service rep….who is also unpleasant to deal with. As a 2 mini household…both bought from this dealership, the combination off poo referring to client service rep….who is also unpleasant to deal with. As a 2 mini household…both bought from this dealership, the combination off poor customer service and high cost of mini service and repair has ensured that we will not be buying another mini, and certainly not from this dealership. Scheduling the appoint online was a breeze; communication with the service folks was seamless. Loved the video walk around of the car by the mechanic as he explained things. with the service folks was seamless. Loved the video walk around of the car by the mechanic as he explained things. More

Previously had positive experience with this dealer in both buying car and servicing same for my new 2016 Mini-Cooper Convertible. Due to the pandemic and lack of available supply/choices, we purchased ou both buying car and servicing same for my new 2016 Mini-Cooper Convertible. Due to the pandemic and lack of available supply/choices, we purchased our 2021 Mini-Cooper Convertible out of State (In MA) this past spring. I did speak with a salesman at length (Fabrizio) about the one Mini-Cooper Convertible they did have in stock but it was in a color I/we did not like and with options we did not need. It was also obvious they lack of supply was not their fault. All was well until we our 2021 Mini Convertible needed routine service(oil change) at which point we were told that a loaner car was not available to us because we did not buy of Mini from them. Since we live about 20 miles away from dairen, (near Fairfield,CT) we had always gotten a loaner car when we needed service. This was true for both our 2106 Mini-Cooper Convertible and also our 2009 Mini-Cooper Convertible and getting a loaner had never been a problem before-in fact Mini/BMW touts the loaner car to Mini owners as an incentive to use them to get your car serviced with a Mini dealer. The service person explained/implied that the loaner cars were limited to the people who bought cars from their dealership since they were so busy and only had a few loaner cars. I explained about the lack of their choices and that I had tried to buy the car I/we wanted from them but this went to no avail. I also offered to have the car serviced at another date/time but still could not get a loaner car per what I thought was standard Mini/BMW policy. So I took the car in and waited about 2 hours for them to do the oil change and them to inspect a possible seat belt retractor recall issue (not needed). The real rub was that while I was walking the lot, I noticed 4 loaner cars NOT being used so they clearly had loaner cars available but simply refused to let me have a loaner car because I did not buy my car from them. This was obviously a Dealership Owner policy and not the service peoples fault/decision but still very frustrating. The service manager was nice and otherwise informative and pleasant but they still only get 2 stars from me. I have NEVER been that disrespected or poorly treated simply because I bought my car from another dealer. How would that work if I had recently relocated from out of state or even from North Hartford, CT where the only other Mini Dealer in CT is located. That is just BAD customer service policy and I doubt I will use this dealer to service my Mini Cooper again. There is a BMW dealer much closed to me and I intend to contact them and see if they will service the car in the future. More
