I rated Joel a three because of some opportunities that presented themselves during my first service appointment. Gave them a four star rating due to some other opportunities that are more related to the presented themselves during my first service appointment. When I arrived I pulled up to the service entrance and waited as I assumed I would be pulling my truck in. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I turned it off and walked inside. It was then I found out you can’t pull your vehicle in as there is only one entrance/exit. I was “greeted”my Service Advisor, Joel. Joel spoke very quietly and didn’t make much eye contact so it took much longer than it should have if his communication skills were stronger. Once checked in I went to the waiting room. Here I found no high top tables or chairs; which for those of us with bad knees makes the environment so much more welcoming and comfortable. Also noticed that there was no work surface areas. In general I found the waiting area to need a refreshing. They could look at the waiting area at their sister Dodge dealership for an example of what customers want and deserve. While waiting for my truck to be finished I when back to ask Joel if my truck would be washed after being serviced. He told me I would get a ticket. Since this was my first time here I had to ask what that meant. Then he explained it allowed me to have my truck washed when I wanted to within the next 14 days. After the explanation, I found that was a positive. When Joel came to inform me my truck was ready he was better than when I arrived. He also offered to have my truck pulled up which I declined. However, after going to get my truck this time I would have it pulled up for future visits. I found having to “search” my truck was frustrating. I have shared my experience with my sales person so he could also let others know and hope this will lead to better a customer experience. I would also recommend that they include a service overview with every vehicle they sell to help make it a more positive experience for new customers. Lastly, this is the first dealer I have used for service that didn’t have a drive thru drop off entrance and I have been buying new vehicles for the last 35 years. I was told that they have been looking for a new location for the last year and a half so they could address some of these opportunities but my response was that there are changes you could make now that would help them service their customers. More
