Today I brought in my 96 Lexus for oil change and to check on the check engine light. Scott was very friendly and helpful on the phone, and even though he said their schedule for today was booked, he s check on the check engine light. When I arrived at the dealership, Scott was not available, but Andy jumped right in, recognized me from yesterday (fixed my Nissan) and set up everything in the database. Scott called later saying they discovered the issue with the check engine light, quoted a price and got my permission to proceed. When I arrived to pick up the car, the bill was a lot less than expected, he had found a way to minimize the expense. I LOVE LUTHER NISSAN!! Car was back to perfect, I left a really happy guy. Joe was great from the beginning. He listened to our concerns over our current issue and worked with us on a reasonable trade in value. Please Stop the "Cheesy Old School Sales Tactics". You sell a great product at a great price - so why make my wife, 2 kids under 2 and myself wait for 3 hours 2 different days and my wife a Tactics". I could see the "manager" and sales person talking - for what??? We had the car picked out and the price was set!! My wife works for 3M - no hassle right??? Finally when we said that's enough we are out of here - all of a sudden the finance manager was available!! Why??? My wife owns a Lexus and WOW what a difference in sales approach. I like Nissan - SO STOP THE CHEESE!!. Thanks to Michael Gittins in finance. Great guy - straight forward. And the service department is awesome!! Don't make people wait - PLEASE. My wife is a marketing manager at 3M and I am a Controller. We understood the deal in the first 10 minutes. Car was picked out. We waited for what the first 3 hours? Then we came back and waited another 3 hours. So John said come back the next day at 11:00 am and we will get you all set. We waited again for 2 hours. WHY?? Last time I worked with Sue over the internet - so simple. If it does take this long - just tell us. We will leave and come back. The signing of documents took less than 10 minutes. Tom Lutz More
