I had one of the worst car buying experiences of my life at Lodi Toyota. I was told my vehicle was still in the “build phase” but forced to pay for dealer add-ons I didn’t want. I was required to leave at Lodi Toyota. I was told my vehicle was still in the “build phase” but forced to pay for dealer add-ons I didn’t want. I was required to leave a a large deposit, with a promise the check wouldn’t be cashed until the car arrived. It was cashed three days later. I was promised updates throughout the build and shipping process, but never received a single call until the day the car arrived. Then, within minutes, my wife was called and told the car wasn’t there and wouldn’t arrive for days. The vehicle was already on the lot—they lied. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was given a salesperson who repeatedly lied and claimed to be the manager. At that point, I removed the warranty and maintenance packages I had initially agreed to, as I no longer trusted the dealership. This dealership lied to me and my wife multiple times, broke promises, and mishandled my money. Their idea of an apology was offering to fill my gas tank—completely insulting after everything they put us through. I will never do business here again and strongly warn others to avoid Lodi Toyota. More
