Liccardi Ford Lincoln is part of a seventy-year tradition of family owned and operated Liccardi dealerships in Central Jersey. In 1938, Salvatore Liccardi, Sr. began selling in Manville, NJ. In 1954, under the direction of Salvatore's son Clemente, the dealership moved to Plainfield, NJ. As they continued to grow, they needed more space. In 1970, Liccardi Chrysler-Plymouth moved onto Route 22 in Green Brook, NJ where they quickly became the tri-state area's largest retail Chrysler-Plymouth dealer.
The Liccardi Ford Dealership opened in Watchung, NJ in 1991 selling cars and trucks including Ford Commercial Trucks. They also rose rapidly in the ranks of New Jersey's top selling Ford Dealerships. Both dealerships sell and lease new and pre-owned vehicles. In recent years, they acquired the Lincoln, Dodge, and RAM Franchises at their Green Brook location and relocated the Lincoln Franchise to their Watchung location. They now have a combined inventory of over 400 vehicles, both locations have full Service Departments and fully stocked Parts Departments on premises.
Service is a priority at Liccardi. They have top factory trained technicians at both locations, they service ALL makes and models, and because they stock over a million dollars in parts, most services can be done the same day. Their goal is to "fix it right, the first time". You can also schedule Service Appointments online at www.liccardi.com, they also offer convenient Saturday Service hours. The Liccardi Auto Group is still family owned and operated by Clemente Liccardi's sons; Greg, Jeff and Kevin Liccardi. They all work in the Showrooms everyday and are involved in all aspects of the operations. That allows them to be in touch with their customers and their demands for selection, price and service. I actually came back to the dealer to have a remote start intalled and I was originally told it would take 2 hours, when I got there I was told by a manager casually oh it shouldn't take that long let me find out for u, I'll call the guy, Fabian, now. he called, Fabian picked up and he started talking, slowly walked away and I didn't hear anything about whether it was being worked on or how long it would actually take... word of advice these guys are clowns and you shouldn't bother More

Purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. Salesperson (Rich) knew very little about the vehicle - I actually knew more than he did. Listed prices are absurdedly over book value - have to barter down thousands just to get to something close to a fair deal. As noted in other reviews, deposit is not refundable and I was not advised of this before I placed the deposit. This is clearly marked on the top of the sales order that you receive after you've handed your money over. Documentary fees are very high and unjustifyable considering the breakdown of services. Dealer prep consisted of a wash and vaccuum of vehicle - mats were left in the trunk (obviously they didn't bother to vaccuum in there). Was handed keys and drove off with the gas tank at empty. Luckily there is a gas station a few hundred yards down....otherwise customers would run out of gas trying to get vehicle home. I was warned of this dealership before going, but thought they had changed due to the "100% Customer Satisfaction" banners hanging in showroom. Well, I suppose it's still the same old Liccardi. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. More
