My repair was completed, but it took much longer than I was advised when I called to schedule. I was offered a loaner when advised on my arrival that it would was completed, but it took much longer than I was advised when I called to schedule. I was offered a loaner when advised on my arrival that it would take much longer. I do have 1 concern-on my original call I ask to get a quote for rear brakes emailed to me. 3-4 hours later when I arrived at the dealership I informed the service advisor that I had not received. The advisor stated he would email the quote. 2 weeks have passed-no quote. I also a message from Madison Parton about my visit and I responded to her about the problem of no quote-over 1 week-no response. I suppose Lexus of Knoxville does not care/want my business. More

Excellent Service, for & from an Excellent Brand I own a 2005 Lexus GX470, it needed repairs for an critical engine component which unfortunately is buried under the intake manifold, the part name sl I own a 2005 Lexus GX470, it needed repairs for an critical engine component which unfortunately is buried under the intake manifold, the part name slips my mind, however it handles the air flow inside the motor and had gone bad. I contacted Lexus first, but decided that since it was also as much a Toyota as a Lexus, I would try to save a few dollars by having Toyota, which was closer to my home, do the repairs, also since I was more familiar with that particular dealership, but not the Lexus Dealership. To make it short, the repairs were done, in the stated time, for the stated cost, however I still had issues after getting the vehicle back, which were related to the diagnosis I was given before the repairs were done, & the vehicle still needed an additional repairs which I should have had done simultaneously with the first repair, although I was still attempting to save money, hoping the still needed part, (fuel pump), would not fail anytime soon. As it turned out I would not be so lucky, a few weeks later & the fuel pump was causing major issues with related components and reduced mileage. Back to square one, I needed repairs, I could go to Toyota again, get somewhat of a discount, but also take the chance they would not do the repairs like a Certified Lexus Mechanic would do, and this part was just as, or perhaps even more critical to the safe, fuel efficient operation of the vehicle. Not to mention, I had to pay a daily rental charge for a rental vehicle during the time my vehicle was at Toyota. This was not so at Lexus, at Lexus I was given a Very Nice Brand New Loaner Vehicle to drive, the only requirement was to bring it back with an Equal amount of fuel as I left with, no extra charges. That vehicle was a 2019, Lexus Hybrid SUV, much nicer than my own Lexus. My Service Tech, Patrick Roberts, handled everything just as he stated he would, and I will be keeping his card is in my glove box, in the event I ever need additional service, and or warranty service. Anyway, he treated me very well, he had already lined up all of the service, coordinated with the parts department, mechanics, and arranged for me to have a loaner vehicle, and had me on my way back home after dropping off my vehicle with him, within a very painless 30 or less minutes, give or take a few. Patrick also kept me well informed about progress, and immediately contacted me to inform me that the Shop Forman had recommended an additional part of the fuel pump, not quoted in the original quote, but which was necessary, and which I had assumed was the part that I had preordered. Apparently I had miss-ordered only the fuel pump itself, believing that, that was the full assembly, but it was not, although I had assumed that incorrectly, but wanted the full assembly installed originally, I just did not know they were two seperate components which in some instances, only the pump itself can be replaced, assuming the assembly itself is in top shape. Patrick contacted me late on the last day of their work week to inform me that the vehicle was indeed now ready, but due to having to reorder the new part, it did take the additional day to repair, he stated that Lexus was about to close for the day, and for the weekend, and I could just keep the loaner through the weekend, still at no additional cost, even for the remainder of the weekend, and that I could pick up my vehicle on Monday, after I got off from work. Monday I went back to Lexus, I met with Patrick, retrieved my keys, and my invoice, while he directed me to the cashier to pay my invoice. After doing so, Patrick had one of the Lexus employees who take vehicles between work stations, clean them, etc...bring my vehicle around before coming back after paying the quoted cost. The man, whom I failed to get a name from, was very friendly, helpful and thorough, and had started & began warming up my car for me, which had also been washed and cleaned up, not that it was dirty before, because I take great care of my Lexus, as it takes great care of me. He had also already transferred all of my personal belonging out of the loaner vehicle, all while I dealt with the bill, and placed everything into my own vehicle, he asked if I would like to check for mysel to make certain everything had been transferred between vehicles, which I done, but only to take one more last look at a vehicle I loved, almost as much as my own, possibly even more. Overall, I am very satisfied with the cost of parts an labor, the service, and the Dealership as a whole, and as for Patrick, he is a very nice, knowledgeable young man, who took good care of both myself, and my vehicle, as did Everyone Else at Lexus of Knoxville. If I ever need or desire any other repairs or service to my Lexus, it will not be going to Toyota, it will be serviced at Lexus of Knoxville. Thank You! David Flenniken More

Director of Service does not deserve this position or title. I had a question about a charge for body work. Jamison Stroupe said he would check into it and call me back. That never hsppened!! His answer was vague and his tone was rude. Because of this person, I will be taking my Lexus elsewhere for service. It is a shame that this one individual has made a huge BLACK mark on your organization. More

I gave a rating of just 3 stars because I never got an answer on what was wrong with my vehicle. My vehicle was running so bad that I almost got it towed 50 miles because I didn't want to risk driving. When I dropped my vehicle off it was running horrible and sputtering. The guy that checked my vehicle in even commented on how bad it was. I received a phone call after my vehicle was looked at and told that my vehicle was running fine and it wasn't "acting up". I picked my vehicle up and it is still not running properly. Not as bad but definitely still not right. It occasionally seems to have problems Switching gears and misfires once in a while. More
