I was interested in purchasing a used 2011 Hyundai Elantra; I heard Hyundai of Everett was a good dealership to go to so I went to the dealerrater website and checked the reviews. When I saw all the great reviews this company had, I called immediately. I talked to Larry about purchasing a used 2011 Hyundai Elantra and he said it would be better purchasing a new Elantra because he could get me a better deal off the car and give me up to a $1000 or $1500 discount off the car. I was so excited to hear that so I scheduled an appointment for the next day. I even printed out 2 of the 2013 models that I like. One was a basic model and the other was a higher model with bluetooth and fog lights. So when I got there, I have to say I was extremely disappointed. Larry showed me the basic model first and then we had to drive to another lot to see the higher model, which we found out it was sold out after we drove there. Both car lots were very small and there were not enough selections to choose from. I test drove the basic model and I was very pleased how it drove. I was asking Larry about the car and he seem to not know enough about the product. I liked the car so I wanted to make an offer on it. Before Larry said he would give me a great deal on it, but turns out he lied about that. He said the MSRP on the car was around $20,000 and he said he will give me the car for $18,900. What I saw online was completely different from what he said and I showed him the paper that I printed off of the Hyundai of Everett website. According to what was listed on the website, the MSRP price was $18,900 and Everett's price was $18,900. Larry took my paper and left to talk to his manager. Ten minutes later he comes back and says he will only knock $500 off the $18,900 price and he will give me a nice key chain. Are you kidding me?! I was very upset. I drove a long way because he said he would give me a great deal off the car and when I get there it is a different story. He did a bait and switch and lied the whole time. He had the nerve to say "we can't knock anything more off the car because the car is new and it is hard to get good discounts on them." Well if he would have told me that when I talked to him over the phone then I would have looked somewhere else. A basic Elantra model with no features does not cost almost $20,000 and they thought I didn't have enough sense to know that, but I did my homework and saw right through his lies. After I received such poor treatment, I went to Hyundai of Kirkland and purchased a 2013 higher model Elantra with better features at a great discounted price and better financing at 3.9%. I got a better car with all the features for $17,500 and at Everett they were offering me a basic standard model with no features for $18,900 with 7.2% financing. The customer service at the new dealership I went to was excellent; they were very friendly and the salesman I had was very knowledgeable, caring, nice, and honest. He set me up with my own service representative and he took the time to set up the bluetooth for me. I received better treatment at the other dealership compared to Everett. The sales representative at Everett is horrible. I would never recommend anyone to go see a bunch of liars that like to do a bait and switch. Larry talks a good game, but he is very deceiving. If you want to purchase a car go to Hyundai of Kirkland. More

This time around we got a lot of information from the internet, and then again checked with Costco to find their Hyundai dealer. We made our initial visit to Hyundai of Everett last weekend and were greeted by Don Rae as we begun looking at the new Elantra cars. He was friendly, very knowledgable, answered all our questions, and took us for a test drive. He did not put any sales pressure on us and he understood that we needed more time to make a decision. Later in the week, Don followed up with an email with a very good price for the car we liked. We did visit other dealerships, but it was only Don who we felt was honest, straight-forward, very professional, someone we can trust, he did not try to confuse or mislead us, and he did not waste our time. Today we brought home our new Hyundai Elantra and we are very happy with the buying experience with Don and with Hyundai of Everett! We will definitely be recommending them to our family and friends!! More

Don was strait forward and efficient in the purchase of my new genesis r spec sedan. We negotiated the trade value and new car purchase price via e-mail and everything went as planned. The dealership is clean and a very friendly atmosphere. The deal took about 2 hours and everything worked out as planned. I would use them for my service in the future but live too far away. I would recommend giving them a shot as they lived up to there promises and made the purchase very easy. By the way, I got a very good deal both on the trade and the new car price. More
